An evil man with an evil agenda. I hope he repents before his end in this world comes, God-willing sooner than later.

It's hard for me to believe a Pope will spend eternity in hell...but, so be it.

Exactly. Bergoglio has put all of his Liberal cronies in place.

A lot of Popes over the past 2,000 years currently have residence down there.

Sure would be nice to get a more conservative pope in place soon.
It'd be great to get someone conservative like Robert Sarah but unfortunately we're getting one of Francis' proteges.
The downfall continues...Satan's tentacles are too far embedded in the Church.

Let me guess. You’re an American Catholic. Amirite? Personally, I prefer to get my guidance on Church dogma from JP Vance, than from the Holy Father.

I hope he repents of his reaching a false gospel before he dies, for his own sake.

This would be a really really interesting time for a new bishop of Rome

Maybe they select a Catholic Pope for a change…..

Next Jesuit up....
I'm not even Catholic, but I miss John Paul 2. He wasn't perfect, maybe a lefty regarding economic systems, but I thought he was awesome in a lot of ways.
Will there ever be another one like him? Hell, might as well have Klaus Schwab as far as the current "Pope" is concerned.

Hope he masks up!
Oh, and stays six feet away.

Yet you had a lot of confidence that Jimmy Carter might be in Heaven despite his pro-abortion and pro gay marriage stances simply because he alleged to have an intellectual assent type of faith in Christ. Is bayoubengal88 the only non-retarded Presbyterian on this board? Seems like it.

Imprecatory Psalms are appropriate for that ol fella.
Lord, change his heart or take him. Your will be done.

quote:I left open the possibility that Carter could have been saved, which requires a saving faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone (not a mere intellectual assent, as you claim I said). A mere intellectual assent saves no one since that is the type of faith James talked about in chapter 2 of his letter.

Since the Pope believes in a gospel that requires good works and assent to non-biblical doctrines, he is more like a Mormon or Jehovah’s Witness than even a badly erring Christian like Jimmy Carter.

Ah, Paul.....the Protestant Messiah.
Paul didn't teach the unhistoric and unbiblical doctrine of sola fide. If he did, then the first generation of Christians who led the church immediately following the Apostolic age would have taught sola fide, yet, they didn't.
In fact, every single time without a single exception that Paul admonished works unto salvation, he was speaking about works of the Mosaic law. Those are not the same as good works done in and through the Grace of Jesus.
