Since we are already taking polls..

quote:

The survey, from the Washington Post and ABC News, represents a five-point swing Trump’s way from the pollster’s last such survey nationally back in September, which had Biden leading Trump 48 percent to 46 percent.

The survey polled 1,003 American adults from January 27 to February 1

quote:

But now that polls are showing Trump leading Biden — including polls from establishment media outlets such as this one from the Washington Post and ABC News — it is much harder for other Republicans to deny Trump’s very serious continued national popularity. A slew of recent other polls have actually showed Trump faring better than DeSantis against Biden, for instance, including a recent Harvard-Harris poll that showed Trump beating Biden by 5 in that poll

Wasn't he leading pretty well just before the election?

Polls mean nothing.

Trump has gotten his as kicked 3 straight cycles. The more he’s around the better Dems do. Some posters (Desantis supporters) understand this.

Repeating this will not make it anymore true than the first time you or the crew stated it.

You’re right because he’s the president, Rs have the senate, and a big lead in the house. Everyone is else is just reading alternative facts.

Seriously, why do you do this to yourself???

As a conservative voter, I’m too disenfranchised to even care a lot about the 2024 election. DeSantis or Trump for me but will it even matter? Probably not.

frick all these polls and such. Until voter corruption is fixed, Republicans may never win another Presidential election again

no. he wasnt. not pretty well in the 6 or 8 that were last to be resolved.
leading pretty well where? its state by state. in nebraska and maine you can win an electoral college voter delegate with part of a state.
538 is the best. they aggregate polls that were accurate in recent elections. it shows a range of possibilities. its not YES OR NO. thats why they show shades of colors. idiots and people with agendas either dont look at details or prefer to pretend.

no. there were several known to be toss ups 2020.
i think you can get sense that the Td favorite is winning by a lot because every poll that supported the td favorite gets cheered even if some polls are a kind of propaganda designed to create the bandwagon effect.
how many were polled?
online?
an online poll on a website whose readership are registered republicans is going to give you the impression td candidate is pretty well ahead.

I’d take that bet. Not because I wouldn’t mind if he wasn’t but I’m pretty confident they’re gonna trot him out there again.

Especially if it’s Trump after a bloody primary w Desantis. Trump has an incredible loser stench and everyone except his die hards can see it (see last three cycles). In that scenario, Biden will win, again.

My point (in that scenario), they’re not gonna risk a new nominee. No need.

However, if it’s RD, I could see it.
