Its definitely apparent and feels like its just getting brushed over. Weird phenomenon.

Primaries and General Election are two entirely different beasts.

Primaries are state by state affairs and only REALLY motivated voters even bother to show up. Trump has an extremely rabid cult like base and they are going to show up.

There's just not enough of them to win a General, and a huge portion of right leaning voters outside of that rabid base are just sick of him.

Really? Because they sure are doing all they can to keep him from running.

While all this is interesting with the Trump/Desantis talk, how about coming back to the real world for a little while and wait until Desantis actually declares.

This is getting mighty old at this point. If I didn't know better, I'd think a whole bunch of y'all were Dem plants trying to cause discord and confusion at this point. Good heavens! The old ladies at church don't gossip this much!

You believe that job biden got 81 million votes? Obama got 69.5 Million in 2008 and 65.9 Million in 2012. Meaning that biden got 12 Million (19%) more than 2008 obama and 15 Million (22%) more than 2012 obama.

Like the other poll posted, Rob showed it is Bushite pollster skewed.

This poll: 'McClatchy DC' is going to primp up their establishment guy.

The Ron camp is clinging to hope. They want him so bad they are going to believe the most obvious GOPe poll. Like clockwork the majority of the polls show Trump beating Biden everywhere and it's DeSantis to the rescue. They know they can't disguise it as DeSantis beating Trump anymore so now let's move on to Trump can't beat Biden. Every talking point the establishment conjures up Ron's (small) base parrots throughout the internet. Ron's shadow campaign managers( rove, bush) want people to believe Trump is desperate but he's just going to keep taking Ron to the cleaners week after week. They will try everything in their power to get Trump out this time. Unlike this bs mythical argument "they want Trump to be the nominee". It's obvious where the real worry lies.

You guys should look at history. Dress staining willie won because Perot ran and split the Republican vote. If you are happy with the things brandon has done, go for it.

Mitt Romney would be the best GOP candidate IMO.

Question about DeSantis 2028- if DeSantis waits until 2028, and Trump loses to Biden, wouldn't Trump just run again in 2028? Is he promising he won't do that after losing? I mean he has already lost once, and decided to run again. Why wouldn't he just do that again?

He totally would. That’s why there’s no waiting until 2024. He may still try running as an independent in 2024 if he doesn’t with the nomination.
