I’ve never done either and been banned multiple times.
Ya, ok. As in you have not been banned for only being liberal or conservative.

They are private companies, so they can basically do what they want.

I don’t think they should be forced to do anything. However, they need to be prepared to deal with the fallout of their censorship.
Agreed.
I'm just tired of the "Oh, we're totes just a platform...we're not publishers"
fricking bullshite.
Twitter and BookFace keep their shite policed tighter than WaPo or NYT ever dreamed of. You even sneeze to the right of Mao and your arse is black-holed.

So you’re the guy that has a little box in which he is convinced the world operates and when it’s shown you will speak out of your arse with no proof (see above) won’t be capable of a conversation where you’ll admit to being wrong.
Sorry if I don’t have the time or energy to prove I’ve been banned from this site for rustling the admins jimmies, but I have, and so have a number of others. You are now permitted to go troll elsewhere, little one.

No you haven't. You've been banned for being a fricking douche. Your last few posts point that out rather succinctly.

It's OK if he's banned for being a douche, but not OK if Facebook does the same thing

Coming from the guy whose first post to me was to call me a liar, I’ll gladly accept that we won’t be friends.

I agree, but political affiliation is not a federally protected class. No federal discrimination tort. Loss of federal civil immunity is a biggie, though.
I’m saying create a Federal cause of action directly attributable to social media companies.
Example:
A New statue that says Social Media companies (as defined by statute) who offer subscriptions or membership and resell personal data of their users (whether paying or unpaying) who remove any user without notice shall be subject to an action for damages and attorneys fees. In the event that the removal was based on political viewpoint of the user, then damages shall be trebled.
It shall be a defense to such action if the social media company proves that 1) it had a
Clearly articulated terms of use policy that was understandable to a reasonable person; 2) the policy is uniformly applied.
Another way to skin the cat would be to amend the federal unfair trade practices statute to expressly state that it’s an unfair trade practice to discriminate against a customer or subscriber based on political speech without just cause.

No, it's one thing being banned for being a douche. It's quite another being banned for your political views.
And again, I'm perfectly fine with BookFace being allowed to ban people based on ideology. I just want them removed from the bullshite immunity that is "oh we're just a platform bro".
bullshite. You're a publisher. Reap the fricking legal whirlwind of your bullshite policies.

Sorry, but when someone cries like a little bitch about admins banning them...having been here for a couple years now and seeing how lenient as all hell the admins are...if you got banned, it's because you're a fricking douche. I don't care what your ideology is. It takes a herculean effort of douchebagery to get banned around here.

Why do you keep trying to paint me in the corner with the people wanting to censor facebook?

Nope. I’m all for Facebook allowing and censoring whomever they want. Just like any other publisher.

You’re speaking opinions backed by nothing by a false bravado like you know something that you don’t. And while you’re clearly the biggest a-hole in this thread, you’re also allowing yourself to be the biggest fool. The admins are lenient as all hell when you agree with them, and quick to drop a ban hammer when you don’t. Yes, I’ve been banned for a dissenting opinion.
You are clearly someone who has no problem speaking from emotion and has no disposition to care about truth because it doesn’t fit your preconceived notions. You are a troll.

Facebook bans you for being conservative. Have you been banned on here for being conservative yet?
Posted on 5/13/19 at 8:59 pm to BBONDS25
OK Bonds, so I'm confused about why you want them punished
You're all over the place

Nope. In addition I want them susceptible to the same libel and lawsuit laws as other publishers.
Fair is fair after all.
