Everyone embraces some kind of ideology. You believe their ideology is bad, and that their candidates are poor choices. What makes you right though?

Liberals often speak this way, declaring that people are simply poorly educated, and with the right instruction they will fall in line.

I don’t think it works that way. Your congressman may be terrible, I only know what you wrote, but perhaps voters don’t care about his flaws? Perhaps gambling isn’t a big deal to them? Perhaps they don’t attach too much value to college. Who’s to say they’re wrong?

People do have an ideology, but that doesn’t mean you vote for a certain party.

Even with a certain ideology informed people should still vote for the right person not the party.

HRC was terrible candidate and I believe she would have been a bad president.

I don’t agree with most of Trumps policies or actions.

We should have more politicians have a serious primary.

Even if people were informed about Billy Long your right most would not care. What matters to them is if he is republican or democrat.

Gambling is fine if it was not his main job. Being a congressman should be his main job. If you miss votes to go to a gambling tournament that is a problem.
