I quit reading the discord after BoarEd joined.

There was a guy from Australia (or at least claimed to be) who was a hardcore libertarian who used to argue with Rex constantly. I think he went by GMB.
There was also a Tulane fan who was active on a lot of the boards named Sophandros whose posts weren't bad.
An attorney or lobbyist from Maryland who I think changed his name to Baloo.
Cold Cous Cous, who I discovered I was in grad school with around the same time but we'd never met.
Maybe they're still around? I don't post on the Poli Board as much, I just lurk for the lulz. Easily the most entertaining forum on the site.

It was.
Over the past 10 years or so, the terms “fig” and “cuck” became a much more popular rebuttal to posters with whom some might disagree with.
Miss seeing more state/local issue posters like “BigJim” giving their thoughts and opinions.
Also keeping up specifically with certain posters and the desire to call them out by name seems to have also grown exponentially in popularity on this board over the past years.
