YES

And when people complain about the cost for the jail they can be reminded that many of these thugs are on government assistance which they wont get in jail. So that money can go towards their incarceration.

Plus what are the costs of these thugs walking the streets, those costs should be considered as well. Like not having car insurance and having an accident, going into 5 Guys and destroying property, having sex and making more little government dependents, the list is endless.
