I think it was great that people were able to easily detect the deciet and dishonesty of Michael Wolff in Fire and Fury who had already been known as someone who treats facts as convenience when they can support his opinion.
Here comes buckeye vol with his passive aggressive ad hom against one of the most trustworthy journalist in the industry today. You don't address or challenge any of his points while you make disingenuous comparisons to grocery store stand tabloid author. I'll put Peter Schweizer's integrity up against ANYONE in the media today. Anyone. Peter Schweizer has more integrity in the tip of this pinkie than the entire MSM combined. In fact Schweizer falls in the category of Glenn Greenwald and Sharyl Attkisson. When they say or write something you can take it to the bank.

Unless he somehow changed his ways, I wonder if those same people can detect the deciet and dishonesty of Peter Schweizer who is already known as someone who treats facts as convenience when they can support his opinion.
Okay you made the assertion. Instead of relying on your audience's imagination that they can paint with their confirmation bias why not point out the deceit and dishonesty?

It's unfortunate that there are people who do great investigative journalism. Unfortunately, those aren't usually as tantalizing nor do they perfectly confirm our most emotionally-driven beliefs since reality is usually a bit more boring and rarely confirms those emotionally driven beliefs.
So instead we choose those with questionable credibility whose work almost always ends up tantalizing and confirming pit emotionally driven beliefs. Then we turn around and are outraged and/or flabbergasted when the other side does the same.
Again, Peter points out corruption on BOTH SIDES. Not only the Heinze and Biden families but the McConnell and Lott families (and more). If this was a partisan hit piece and I were "outraged and/or flabbergasted" you'd have a point but Schweizer is 100% bipartisan outing the corruption.

The vacuous paragraph I quoted above is the closest thing to an "explanation" that I saw there.
Note that there is no actual explanation of how "China" "purchased" anything. Not so much as a single example of a member of Congress being "purchased". But my favorite is the scary-sounding but meaningless statement that "there are trillions at stake".

I find it sad that a website called "the conservative treehouse" is anti-free trade and pro-tariff.

Saw this recently somewhere: How can 330,000,000 people let 535 set this country on there course to ruin.
It's time for a Convention of States. When will we quit living in the problem, and start living in the solution?

All politicians are salesman. Plain and simple.

Define free trade.
And after that, tell me where free trade exists.

Well, this is very true. In fact they don't even write legislation. Industry lobbyists write legislation and politicians sell it.
