Forbes reported before the plea that Flynn would plead to something in order to prevent Mueller from going after his son.

I think some perspective is needed as far as how highly ranked of an officer Flynn was in the army.
Ok so a full bird colonel is a big dog.
Next step is brigadier genneral (one star.)
Then Major General (2 star.)
Flynn was a lt General (3 star.) There is only one rank higher during peace.
Put another way- Patton was a 2 star when WWII started. So Flynn right now is ranked higher than Patton was.
So do you think, that our army which is a meritocracy, on officer at an INSANELY hard rank to achieve, is gonna rogue and sabotage the US???

Believe what you will. Be naive if you choose. The legal wrangling has put the Flynns in the poor house. The family home was sold to pay legal expenses back in March, and he hasn't even been sentenced yet.

I don’t think anyone is painting Flynn out to be a traitor or anything nefarious.
But a year ago Trump told us he fired Flynn because he lied to the VP and to the FBI.

I dont think anyone is claimimg that Flynn is an angel. He's probably bent the rules especially when it comes to FARA, but we've seen other prominent dems like the Podestas get away with similar violations.
The issue here is he's being sentenced for lying to the FBI. It's coming out now that he didn't lie, the agents that interviewed him didnt think he lied, and reports may have been altered months later to create a crime that wasn't there.
