This isn't what will happen. Skilled workers will take the jobs from the unskilled workers because they provide more value for the cost. This will price unskilled workers out of the market, creating a never-ending welfare class.

States like Louisiana and Alabama already have a never ending welfare class, and coincidentally they both have a $7.25 minimum wage. It's crazy to see people from the poorest states in America fighting tooth and nail to stay poor.

This is a poison pill, right?

This is either a poison pill or will contain verbiage basically to the effect that $15 min wage won't go into effect for awhile and even then has to be reassessed.

Biden himself said min wage can't pass through reconciliation and Bernie's own committee said min wage cannot be raised "during a pandemic".

Manchin will not vote for $15 min wage anyway, I would almost bet money.

I bet it’ll be $15 hr for full time employees which means companies will be 80-85% part time and 15-20% full time

The people currently on never-ending welfare aren't working. This will merely add to their numbers. The number of people who will actually be helped will pale in comparison.

I wouldn't bet one red cent on a D Senator voting against every single other D Senator and a D VP.
