Horace Mann is $65k per year. If I had that kind of money I’d be leaving, too.

If you can pay $65k for your kids to go to school, how much cheddar are you moving out of the city when you leave?

I'm having a tough time identifying with the parents of kids in "elite private schools". Does that make me a bad person?

Very few of posters on this board identify with millionaire New Yorkers.

You don’t have to identify with them to understand second order effects.

Mamdani will almost certainly get rid of the gifted schools that students have to test into. It's those schools that helped NYC retain more of the professional class with children who would have fled otherwise.

We can’t comment on that. We have priests who molest little boys and Congress and others who visited Epstein Island.
