Hey guess what? Life ain’t fair. This country wasn’t founded to make it fair for everyone. The government isn’t a referee to enforce fairness in the game of life.

America was founded to give people certain human rights freedoms and liberties so that people themselves could pursue happiness in the land of OPPORTUNITY. Opportunity is not a guarantee. Nobody is guaranteed of success just because you live or come here. The only thing this country guarantees is that you’ll have the freedoms laid out in the bill of rights as you do as you see fit to create your path to whatever opportunity it is want to pursue. The government in not meant to give you anything beyond those inalienable rights. That’s up to you. I had a stable family unit growing up. Does that automatically give me a step up vs. someone from a broken home? Probably. But it’s not the governments job to make up the difference.

The sooner you come to understand that not everyone is going to have the exact same experience as someone else to get to “success” however that is defined the better off you’ll be because that is a utopian train of thought and it is against human nature. It is human nature to not nurture the things given to them. When you earn something yourself you protect it. The simplest example I can give you of this is a rental car. People have not issue driving a rental car like the stole it. But their own car that they have to work to pay for? Very different.
