Thanks for a decent response unlike the majority of the last two pages (sarcasm much like your comments). I’m certainly not going to argue that all the Puerto Ricans that come here are model citizens but the number that work their butts off here and on the island isn’t insignificant.
I’m also not going to argue that it makes sense for the US to hold on to PR but I will point out that the US has a history of stamping out the independence movement so our (US) government is not without fault there. Still, PR’s current problems are largely their own making. The population drain will continue. Hopefully, those that come will work their asses and build a better life for themselves while being a net positive to our society.
