The democratic party is pushing hard for reparations. What if a deal went through that one could take reparations but then they or their families we unable to vote again, ever? That might stop the democrats from pushing this as an issue.

The only form of reparations I'd support would be a $5,000 and one way plane ticket back to Africa with a lifetime ban from returning to America. Anyone that chooses to stay can stfu.

All the money ever generated from slavery was lost during the civil war.
The cost of the civil war was many times the wealth generated by the slave trade.
That doesn't even remotely count that 300k whites gave up their lives to free the 3 million slaves.

If you believe you owe reparations, you personally pull out your checkbook and make it happen. Don’t force others who don’t believe they owe reparations to participate.
You pay for your own false guilt. I have nothing to do with it.
The Democratic party has one idea with many excuses. The one idea is to take money from everybody. The many excuses are social security, medicare, “free” college, the obamacare mandates, reparations, etc.
