However, there will be idiots who claim to be vaccinated just so they don't have to wear a mask. Plus some Karens are so scared, they would feel more comfortable.
This seems to be the real issue. You can't look at someone and tell if they have been vaccinated. People that fear the vaccine will lie. So mask mandates must stay.
And does someone on this thread believe that rates of measles, typhoid, diphtheria and polio are still high, but everyone is asymptomatic? Really?

Yes, the vaccines don't slow transmission, only reduce symptoms
I've been vaccinated, and I go in public without any mask. If someone wants to ask me about it, I'm happy to show them proof of vaccination. If that doesn't suffice, frick'em.

Like flu vaccine you can still get covid with vaccine
You are getting immunity so it doesn’t kill you

Anyone who doesn't get this is dense. The reason they say you have to keep wearing your mask is they're worried everyone would stop wearing them and claim they got the vaccine.

just to keep Karens from hyperventilating
Same as if you already had it.
Easier to just keep masking than to explain 100 different times that you're immune.
