Once vaccinated, is there a medically "proven" reason to continue wearing a mask?

Not that wearing one hasn't already been disproven to be an effective deterrent, but if the vaccine is so damned good and "effective", and you are immune to the virus, and (1) you can't get it and (2) you can't also be asymptomatic since you can't get it, then what's the medical purpose of wearing a face mask,
or is it just to keep Karens from hyperventilating and creating episodes of mass hysteria and disturbing the peace of everyone around them while flooding Facebook with stories and videos of mask-less people entering Trader Joe's, walking on the sidewalk, and cycling through the park?
Serious question.

Yes, the vaccines don't slow transmission, only reduce symptoms

Is it your belief that wearing a mask short of an N95 does anything?

I was just reading this the other day but haven’t done any more recent research between work demands and being sick myself. But maybe this will be helpful.

Was there a medically proven reason to wear a mask on the first place?
Especially the type of mask the average person wears on a daily basis?

Evidence has been on the other side. People who are vaccinated are very unlikely to transmit or acquire an infection

Do you have a link to a real scientific article are just garbage from The NY Times.

Then it is ineffective as a vaccine, as having any symptom means a level of infection.

If masks were effective we wouldn’t need a vaccine.

The vaccine does not give you immunity to the virus, it only reduces you symptoms if you do get infected, it is apparently possible to asymptotic infection so you could still spread the virus to others. That being said there is little real data on whether masking has reduced the infection rate or not.

It’s not a traditional vaccine. It doesn’t keep you from getting Covid nor does it keep you from passing it along. It only insures that your case does not become severe enough to cause hospitalization and death.
That, of course, is why, with a less than one percent chance of dying even if I do get Covid, I can see very little utility in getting the vaccine.

Do you believe that statement?
Because it is wrong on do many levels.
Just curious.
I don't know whether to down vote or leave alone. I'm not sure if you are a liberal sky screamer terrified of the virus or if you are just clueless.
So, people who are vaccinated are less likely to get the virus, they are less likely to have symptoms, are less likely to pass on the virus, and less likely to die.
If they are less likely to catch it and even if they catch it, less likely to transmit it, please tell me how do vaccines not slow transmission?
Now is there a medically proven reason to continue wearing a mask?
There are reasons.
If you are working in Healthcare around ill covid patients, I would wear a mask. Out and about? Likely not.
However, there will be idiots who claim to be vaccinated just so they don't have to wear a mask. Plus some Karens are so scared, they would feel more comfortable.
The currently approved vaccines work really well.

Please share your source to back this statement.

Did your bother to read the scientific rationale within the article or just react to the source? Was answering the OP question.

That's not true. But with only 2 months of safety data and emergency FDA approval the companies who created the vaccine cannot claim that they do anything other than reduce risk of contracting the virus or becoming symptomatic from transmission.

No medical reason exist without the vaccine therefore it doesn’t exist with it either. The China Virus is a hoax.
