When it comes to this particular question in isolation, I'm not sure there was ever much daylight between MAGA and neocons.

There is plenty of evidence on this very board that shows this is not correct.
And yes, some of us always knew there was a huge subset of MAGA that were lying and hypocrites in waiting on this particular point. I pointed this out numerous times from 2020-2024 on here.

I hated that we had to do this because we are once again involved in a war. As a Veteran I didn't want to see my brothers having a even bigger target on their backs. But everyone that took the Oath knew that going in right? That this is always a possibility. Israel simply was not capable of taking these sites out. We really didn't have a choice. Iran has been saying for years that their goal was the complete and total destruction of Israel and the USA. You cannot allow them to get a nuke, use it then react.
