It's becoming blatantly obvious the entire "muh Russians" fiasco is nothing more than a deep state attempted coup against a sitting president. And a huge portion of the national mainstream media are willful and active coconspirators.
And I don't say this litghtly. Stop for a moment, take off the policial shaded glasses and look at where we are. We are witnessing a policial party, the Democrats, actively attempting to overthrow the legitimate government of the United States of America. Let that sink in for a moment.

Unfortunately, it isn't just the Democrats. Republicans in Congress easily had the power to say "no we aren't holding multiple Congressional investigations into collusion and we also aren't funding a special prosecutor to investigate what we can all plainly see is BS"

That's it exactly. They thought "hey we've given Hillary EVERY advantage, including use the IC as a weapon against her opponent, there is no way we will ever get caught"
