Meh. Don’t think GT is a moron. Just not in alignment with you.

I think you underestimate many here. Very few will put out the same effort you do here. I’m in that category for sure. You’d likely beat me at chess. I have little patience.

No you wouldn’t. At DU you’d feel comfortable letting your liberal hair down and not having to pretend you’re a libertarian like you do here.

GT? Probably not a complete idiot. I do think he probably managed to obtain a college degree. But he has zero ability to engage in objective analysis, and that makes him a functional idiot in my lexicon.

As just a few examples, you, Wolfhound and DavyJones are not in complete alignment with me, either, and I do not consider any of you to be idiots, because you have demonstrated an ability to THINK. Same for Shorty, even if he is BADLY paranoid.

Folks like GT, Godfather, Muff and many others have demonstrated no ability to do anything other than cheering at a pep rally.

This totally destroys the premise of the question from Yammich Alcindor of NPR who asked Trump last Friday if he felt responsible for the pandemic becaue he eliminated this office. The deploable and despicable media feasted on this all weekend, labeling Trump racist and sexist for his blistering retort to Ms. Alcindor. Trump dunked on Alcindor and wins again. BIGLY.

I don’t get the Up dog reference but lawyers have a different sense of humor.

I do get frustrated people like GT though. I am him on occasion.

Interesting choice of words, given the name “Alcindor”.

I knew the answer. I think hank has some great libertarian insight. I would love to be fully libertarian. I can’t though. I can’t give in to the socialists.

Ah ha. Now I’m on board. My kids are older and haven’t seen the movie in ages.

I forgot about his problem with attention span. That’s definitely me. Good or bad.

So would I.

But COMPLETE libertarianism is not really practical for a large, diverse population in which you are stuck with whoever is born into it. It takes a certain type to be a true libertarian, and probably 2/3 could not cut it.

In many ways, pure libertarianism is also arguably-inconsistent with the Constitution.

So the best we can do is incorporate as much broad libertarian thought as possible into an otherwise-flawed system.

I’d bet most under 40 wouldn’t even recognize the name he changed it to.
