IRGC LARAK ISLAMD CONTROL SYSTEM: HOW IT OPERATES

1.Ships nearing the Strait are hailed over VHF by IRGC units positioned at Larak Island.

2. Vessels are required to provide full cargo details, ownership structure, destination, and crew list through IRGC-linked intermediaries.

3.The IRGC reviews each vessel based on nationality, ownership, cargo type, and crew. Energy shipments receive priority.

4.Cleared ships are charged up to $2 million per passage. Payments are made in Chinese yuan or cryptocurrency, sometimes routed through third-party maritime brokers.

5. Approved vessels receive authorization and are guided by IRGC escorts through a designated corridor inside Iranian-controlled waters.

6. Ships that do not comply are denied passage. One container vessel ‘the Selen’ was turned back after failing to meet the required protocols.

I'm fairly confident that the US could drop about a dozen MOABs at any given moment and turn LARAK Island into a glassy knoll.

Thai cargo ship crisis in the Strait of Hormuz

A Thai-flagged vessel, Mayuree Naree, previously struck by unknown projectiles, has now run aground near Iran’s Qeshm Island.

• Explosion in stern sparked engine room fire
• 20 crew rescued by Omani navy
• 3 crew members still missing

Incident adds to rising tensions in a critical global shipping lane.

Britain couldn’t take back the Falklands back in the 80’s either. The US supported Britain. That’s how they did it.
Yup, enough to make anyone leave an island under US economic pressure. Britain got to do their ceremonial bombing, just like with their ceremonial changing of the guard. It’s all just a facade.

The last thing that made them useful to the US was their influence in the EU and well…

Both Britain and Germany lost that war.

I assume they didn’t pay the troll toll before trying to sail through.

Entities that want their vessels to safely pass through must submit their details to what Lloyd’s List Intelligence refers to as “approved intermediaries” of the Revolutionary Guard, including the cargo, owners, destination and a complete crew list. Approved vessels receive a code and are escorted by an IRGC vessel. Oil is prioritized and vessels are subject to “geopolitical vetting,” Lloyd’s said. “While not all ships are paying a direct toll, at least two vessels have and the payment is settled in yuan,” Lloyd’s List said, referring to the Chinese currency.

Iran’s parliament appears to be working on a bill to formalize fees for some ships in the Strait of Hormuz, local media reported.

Pretty heady stuff when Iran goes through parliament to pass a trade shakedown while the US supreme leader just tweets out our tariff schedule.

What a take. I think the democrats are being very quiet for good reason. Just like the Chinese.

Lloyd’s must be lying. They’re lying about the Iranians being able to do this.
