not a good look with this response... almost seems flippant or apathetic about it.... just odd

Former Iranian political prisoner Kian Tajbakhsh shuts down an entire CNN panel with a blunt reality check.
Abby Phillip and Ashley Allison were spiraling over whether the U.S. is actually at war with Iran.
That’s when Tajbakhsh dropped an absolute truth bomb: “I think President Trump wants to finish a war that Iran started in 1979.”
ALLISON: “Two days ago, yesterday, this morning, I was told we were not at war.”
“Today in the press conference, Pete Hegseth says, end the war. Are we at war? Are we not at war? Do we want regime change or do we not?”
TAJBAKHSH: “You know, I know this may sound controversial…but I think a lot of commentary is missing the big picture.”
“To simplify it, I would put it this way.”
“I don’t think it’s right to say that President Trump has started a war with Iran.”
“I think President Trump wants to finish a war that Iran started in 1979, 47 years ago.”
Then he shared a story from inside Iran:
“These aren’t just words. Let me tell you an anecdote.”
“In 2003, 2004 when I was there in Iran, working on projects at a very high level, I was talking with deputy ministers…going back and forth.”
“I was in the foreign ministry in Tehran where I met someone very senior who was semi-sympathetic to the projects we were doing.”
“But as I was leaving, he looked me in the eye and said, as an Iranian-American I want you to listen very carefully.”
“He said we in this building…meaning the foreign ministry, meaning the government, meaning the regime…”
“He said we believe we are at war with the United States.”
“He said at that time it’s a cold war, but it’s a war nonetheless.”
The panel hated hearing the truth from someone who had seen the regime up close and they immediately jumped on him.

Anti-regime militancy is rising inside Iran.
A group calling themselves the “Wolves of Iran” has released a video manifesto. The masked group says the regime’s violence during the January protests left them no choice but to abandon peaceful protest.
It is not yet clear whether the members are from the IRGC or the army, but in the video they swear loyalty to Reza Pahlavi while concealing their identities to avoid arrest.

One by one, the dictatorships backed by the CCP are being taken down by the United States. Xi Jinping has squandered over a hundred billion dollars in a futile spending spree—all of it blood and sweat money squeezed from the Chinese people.
At this year's Trump-Xi summit, Trump is brimming with confidence. Xi Jinping, aren't you feeling awkward? Do you even have the face to show up? You love pointing fingers and giving directions to others—how about pointing President Trump in the right direction?

Arab media have reported the execution of IRGC special forces general Ismail Qaani for espionage on behalf of Mossad
The Emirati portal The National, citing unconfirmed sources, claims that Qaani was accused of espionage and executed.
Qaani, the head of the Quds Force special unit, survived numerous assassination attempts and was even with Khamenei during the U.S.-Israeli bombings, but managed to survive.
He also disappeared several times, for example, after Israeli strikes on Beirut in 2024, but later reappeared in public.
There has been no official confirmation of the information about his execution.

The Indian Navy ship INS Tarangini (54m) arrived in Colombo after joining the search and rescue operations for the Iranian frigate IRIS Dena, which sank Wednesday after being struck by a US submarine torpedo.
India has also deployed INS Ikshak and maritime patrol aircraft to assist the mission.

CNN’s Abby Phillip interrupts former Iranian political prisoner Kian Tajbakhsh and immediately cuts to a commercial right after he said this:
“You can draw a straight line from the 2015 nuclear deal to October 7th.”
TAJBAKHSH: “What happened with President Obama, I’ll just say this very quickly.”
“And I was in the State Department in the 2000s when we implored the Bush administration not to restrict the engagement with Iran simply to the nuclear file.”
“What happened with president Obama is that, for better or worse — and I’m not going to litigate that here — he decided that given the four big problems that have always been on American objectives with Iran, that is enrichment, ballistic missiles, proxies and democracy inside Iran, that he would put all the last three aside and focus only on the nuclear deal.”
“Now, I’m not going to say that was good or bad. I don’t think it was a great idea, but what we have seen and this is also maybe controversial and I think a lot of my liberal friends are going to hate me for this…”
“Is that unfortunately you can draw a straight line from the 2015 nuclear deal to October 7th.”
“I think that what the Trump administration is—”
PHILLIP: “We…we…we do have to go to a break here.”
TAJBAKHSH: “Okay.”
PHILLIP: “There’s more on the other side. So hold your thought because I have some follow up questions for you about what the endgame is here and now…”

The one gap: cheap Shahed drones are still slipping through billion-dollar defense networks built for bigger threats.

Video of an Iranian Medium-Range Ballistic Missile (MRBM) with a large cluster munition warhead attacking Israel a few hours ago.
The missile carried a cluster munition warhead which opens on descent, dispersing dozens of smaller submunitions (bomblets) over a wide area.
Each submunition has its own explosive charge (around 2–5 kg).
The video was filmed from Jordan.

Where we are now ?
We had 7 missiles throughout the day yesterday. In the early hours of the night we had 2 more missiles. They had those warheads that split into 24 smaller bombs, each of them roughly 20 k"g.
Those look great when they burn in the atmosphere - great on X but no damages in Tel Aviv.
Life in Israel is slowly returning:
Few flights landed in the airport, outgoing flights will resume on Sunday.
Commercial activity partly resumed, some stores and cafes opened yesterday. Most supermarkets are open.
Highway Traffic, which was near zero on Saturday/Sunday and weak on Monday/Tuesday is now heavier (I live near the main Haifa-Tel Aviv highway and see it out of my Window)
