Playing whack a mole on the coast line is fairly useless. Israel and US need to start whacking IRGC leadership again. There’s no other option.

Agreed. It’s a waste of time other than making me money on my LNG stocks.

For some reason this admin refuses to strike the core of these idiots.

Bloomberg reporting Trump says the United States will hit Iran “very hard” tonight and tomorrow.

“Very hard” = a handful of coastline weapons systems that are replaced shortly after.

Our bombs and gas cost more than their damn system. It’s frustrating seeing millions wasted on antique systems.

And I’ll add to this. Israel needs to tag in… it’s ridiculous that they wanted this and now aren’t getting involved. It was their main threat and now they are perfectly okay sitting this out.

Finish them off with the bombing and turn the lights out in Tehran.

It`s all they understand.

I’ll be honest, I’m surprised the Iranians haven’t struck Israel again.

For all their “death to Israel” talk, they sure are shooting their wad at their own kind rather than those evil dastardly Jews they blame everything on.

Media acting like this is new

It's not. It's the hottest area on Earth. I experienced 120F days in Baghdad when I was deployed there 23 years ago

Seems Iran is using their attacks to keep the price of oil up.

Trump has asked them to stay out. He know if Israel gets involved, they will go straight for the throat of the IR and IRGC and he will be forced to go along with actual regime change, which seems to be something he has zero interest in doing at this point in time. I'm concerned that he thinks we can take the SOH and control it without eliminating the Islamic Republic and it's attack dogs. As long as they exist, SOH will always be at risk.

They can play whack a mole with us for quite a while and the regime will survive and they know that. The moment they screw up and attack Israel, all hell will break lose in Tehran and Bibi will go at them with the goal of regime change. They know this, which is why for now they have shown some restraint.

It’ll take years for the UAE to recover from this war if it were to end tomorrow.

Dubai’s image as a safe haven for tourists in the Middle East has been destroyed indefinitely. No one from Western countries will be visiting that city any time soon. The UAE government will have no choice but to shift their economy from tourism/real estate back to being a petrostate.

I'm not sure if they have the weaponry to strike Israel anymore.

The seem content to just send drones across the strait.

I
quote:

ranians are forming armed groups to defend their communities and fight against the Islamic Republic.

The newly formed Qom Military Group, composed of families linked to the Javid-Naman-e Lor group, former political prisoners, and activists from Lor and Bakhtiari regions, has declared its support for the Lion and Sun Revolution.

The group says it is organizing to defend Iranians following the Islamic Republic’s massacre of more than 45,000 defenseless protesters in January.

It announced its formation on July 13, coinciding with the anniversary of the Bakhtiari conquest of Tehran, and vowed to stand against what it called the Islamic Republic’s “satanic regime.”

So now unless they can get into it with Iran they won’t allow additional refueling aircraft to stay in Israel.

I think this shows that they are unhappy they can’t rip Iran apart in their weakest state in years. Let them at it trump. Save us a few million.

The original plan was to have only 20 tankers there, we currently have 34, which is taking up space at their airport. Their transportation secretary's concern is that that many planes will impact flights in and out of Israel during the peak of their tourist season. Ben Gurion is an international airport and not a military base.

The Israeli government has reportedly offered to allow us to use one of their air bases to host the tankers but so far we have not taken them up on the offer. Guess we will see where this goes.
