The hospice people I dealt with for my grandfather were amazing. And I will always respect them because there is no way in hell I could do what they do every day. It would destroy me.

one of my best friends was a hospice chaplain for nearly a decade, and misses it a lot. he liked the peace he helped bring to the pt and family, and a shitload of them have gone out of their way to keep in touch with him long after

Hang in there. Remember the good times... It gets me through the hard times. It's been several years since I lost mine and I miss them dearly. No one can take the memories away.
