So, this Post is essentially whining about being banned for another Post that was at the least disgusting, in relation to your lamentation re "really cool...to actually debate things...other than lighter fluid".
This Board has taken on some of the most profound Issues (God, Morality, Political Ideology, Policy, etc.) in the Human realm of perception. Apparently, you missed that; not surprisingly.
You'll get as you give on this Board. The Mods are fair; especially once you establish Board cred with a record of positive contribution. Come in spewing worthless venom and you'll get the hammer. Good riddance.
That aside, you despise Trump...but I'll bet Obama gets a pass for "wiretapping" Trump; and essentially criminally corrupting the highest Institutions of our Government. This pernicious Double Standard - a mockery and abandonment of Equal Justice/Rule of Law - and the fact that many Republicans and ALL Democrats ENABLE such with their tolerance of said High Crimes...tells Trump Nation exactly all they needed to know re whether to elect a *Trump* to the Office of POTUS. And I have long said that if this *Trump* don't get it done...the next one that rises out of all the Red on that Map - with a Flag in one hand and a sword in the other - will make Donald Trump look like a narcissistic, billionaire NY Socialite. Not that such matters, as long as He does what He was hired to do. Beat back the Prog (Global Democratic Authoritarian Socialist) hegemony. I.e., the "fundamental change of this Nation".
Just like one person's 'terrorist' is another's freedom fighter...one person's Social Justice is another's bondage, under the yoke of Democratic tyranny. "Two wolves and a sheep voting on what's for dinner".

Pretty sure with the exception of smaller military, you just described Donald Trump. There are zero prominent Dems that meet that description. The fact is, you arent what you describe yourself as. You are always in resistance. When the GOP moves left, you move farther to the left. When the GOP capitulates on one issue, you dont shake hands, you instead turn up the volume on a more fringe issue.
What debate? Leftists never come here to debate, just to throw out snide, smug NPC bullshite to flame and troll this board...kinda like the MSM does
The only debate is among the right, because we actually have idealogical diversity. Most love Trump, but a few, for reasons they can actually articulate(unlike the left) have reservations. We challenge OUR OWN PARTY more than we challenge the left.

Maher is a poser. Such a man who is above political games as you assert, should be happy that Trump is bringing real talk to the fray, happy that the economy is booming, yet he said he hopes the economy falters just for the sake of ridding DC of Trump.
Trump is the one who wants to make weed legal at the federal level. The Dems had complete control over the government with a filibuster proof majority for two whole years in Obama's first term. Why is weed still illegal?
