Y'all have some serious selective memory. Before McCain picked Palin as his running mate he was leading the polls and Obama's association with Rev Wright (and Ayers) was a big part of what was weighing him down.

But ultimately didn't derail his candidacy because turns out democrat voters were and are just fine with Obama having a racist preacher.
