quote:This is a very fascinating and provocative concept.
"This phenomenon seems to be about advanced technology that doesn't always fit into our current model of ‘what is technology’ and what isn't,” he said. “Many technologists use their intuition to find new technology ideas and decide which paths to pursue,"
Take a period such as, say, 130 years ago, and you find many competing theories and approaches to things like harnessing EM waves, non-animal driven propulsion and transportation, etc.
Those theories were pared down to a few, technologies were developed around them, and here we are today.
We look back and think the other theories were dead ends or crazy, but perhaps they just weren't viable or profitable at the time, and thus were discarded before breakthroughs could be made. What is most efficient at one level of development, might not be so at another level later on. Who knows what cars might be like if we had focused on Wankel engines rather than cylinders... and that's just a small and late branch in petrochemical mechanics.
Suppose we had pursued Tesla's power theories instead of Edison's, how might that have developed? I don't mean simple experimenting, I mean serious and stringent advancement, pushing it over a century; you might not have any outlets or cords anywhere in your house, things just "power up" by being attuned to the source. It seemed too hard back then, but a century of public neccessity would have forced overcoming those initial obstacles.

This is where the idea of Steam Punk comes from. What if the computer was invented in the late 1800's using different means, like maybe steam power. What would the world look like today? Don't know if Tesla is lumped in with the Steam Punk genre, but maybe there could be a Tesla Punk genre of Sci Fi.

The first sighting of the mysterious object happened last month, when YouTuber Cody Kennedy was stunned to discover a flashing light hovering above the Mojave Desert in California. Two weeks later, renowned conspiracy theorist Blake Cousins uploaded footage to his YouTube channel thirdphaseofmoon of a similar “craft” in the skies over Colorado. The object seemed to plunge to the ground before darting off at a right-angle – elongating its shape like a snake in the process. And then, just over a month after the first video, Blake published yet another clip of the shaped “craft” hovering over Washington.

Be careful. I remember the last time they were doing an audit of this stuff at the pentagon.
Get out the next time they turn off all the cameras!!!

Congressman Mark Walker Wants To Know if Elizondo’s UFO Debris Claim is True
JULY 26, 2019
quote:
Thanks to Chris Wolford for this lead. On 7-26-19 Congressman Mark Walker appeared on Tucker Carlson Tonight. The congressman, who is the member of the Homeland Security Committee, sent a letter to Navy Secretary Richard Spencer asking for answers. Walker references the new infrared radar systems in the jets that are picking of UAP/UFOs. Walker says he has no evidence to support that UFOs come from other countries, but they don’t know if they do. Walker wants to know if AATIP has continued.
When asked about Lue Elizondo’s claim that the United States has UFO Debris (metamaterials) he said, “We don’t know, but that’s one of the four questions that we are asking. Is there evidence being held somewhere (not to get too spooky once again) but if there is evidence I believe it’s important for people specifically in my position, as the ranking member of terrorism/counter-intelligence, we need to know what this is.”
First Trump was asked about Elizondo’s claim, now another important politician has been directly asked by Tucker Carlson about UFO Debris. TTSA has been claiming to have been collecting UFO Debris aka Metamaterials for over a year, but this new attention on whether the United States has them, thanks to Elizondo’s comment on Tucker Carlson Tonight months ago, and starting with the first New York Times article, could be an opening in the conversation that Disclosure activists have been asking for. Today’s comments represent another huge win for To the Stars Academy. Hopefully the buzz in Washington will continue and the politicians asking for answers (and the public) will receive them.

Tom DeLonge’s UFO Organization Says It’s Obtained ‘Exotic’ Metals Unknown to Science It hasn't posted any proof yet, but the former Blink 182 singer's group says it is currently studying materials to see if they came from a UFO.

Former Blink 182 frontman and current UFOlogist Tom DeLonge says that his UFO research organization has acquired “potentially exotic materials featuring properties not from any known existing military or commercial application.” It has not yet provided any proof to back up this claim.
For 70 years, the UFO community has been engaged in active debate regarding physical debris from unidentified flying objects, but the general public got a true taste of that in 2017 when the New York Times ran an article about a secret Pentagon UFO program. The article tantalizingly noted that aerospace billionaire Robert Bigelow, whose interest in UFOs is no secret, modified buildings to house “metal alloys and other materials…that [allegedly] had been recovered from unidentified aerial phenomena.”
quote:
According to the press release, some of these materials were in the possession of investigative journalist and UFO researcher Linda Moulton Howe, who, in 2004, gave a presentation at the Xcon Conference regarding these materials. In her lecture, a video of which has been on the internet for years, she suggests that the material could become a “lifting body” with the right amount of electromagnetic static and certain RF frequency. These are undoubtedly the same materials mentioned by DeLonge on his Joe Rogan interview where he stated, “if you hit it with enough terahertz, it’ll float.”

Apophis (also known as Apep) is the Great Serpent, enemy of the sun god Ra, in ancient Egyptian religion. The sun was Ra's great barge which sailed through the sky from dawn to dusk and then descended into the underworld. As it navigated through the darkness of night, it was attacked by Apophis who sought to kill Ra and prevent sunrise. On board the great ship a number of different gods and goddesses are depicted in differing eras as well as the justified dead and all of these helped fend off the serpent.
Ancient Egyptian priests and laypeople would engage in rituals to protect Ra and destroy Apophis and, through these observances, linked the living with the dead and the natural order as established by the gods. Apophis never had a formal cult and was never worshiped, but he would feature in a number of tales dealing with his efforts to destroy the sun god and return order to chaos. Apophis is associated with earthquakes, thunder, darkness, storms, and death, and is sometimes linked to the god Set, also associated with chaos, disorder, storms, and darkness. Set was originally a protector god, however, and appears a number of times as the strongest of the gods on board the sun god's barque, defending the ship against Apophis.

Navy's Advanced Aerospace Tech Boss Claims Key 'UFO' Patent Is Operable
Navy officials claim their radical electromagnetic and superconductor technologies aren't theoretical, they’re already operable in some form.
BY BRETT TINGLEY
AUGUST 2, 2019
quote:
Last month, The War Zone reported on a series of strange patent applications the U.S. Navy has filed over the last few years and questioned what their connections may be with the ongoing saga of Navy personnel reporting incidents involving unidentified objects in or near U.S. airspace.
We have several active Freedom of Information Act requests with the Department of Navy to pursue more information related to the research that led to these patents. As those are being processed, we've continued to dig through the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's (USPTO) Public Patent Application Information Retrieval database to get as much context for these patents as possible.
quote:
In doing so, we came across documents that seem to suggest, at least by the Navy's own claims, that two highly peculiar Navy patents, the room temperature superconductor (RTSC) and the high-energy electromagnetic field generator (HEEMFG), may in fact already be in operation in some manner. The inventor of the Navy's most bizarre patent, the straight-out-of-science fiction-sounding hybrid aerospace/underwater craft, describes that craft as leveraging the same room temperature superconductor technology and high energy electromagnetic fields to enable its unbelievable speed and maneuverability. If those two technologies are already operable as the Navy claims, could this mean the hybrid craft may also already operable or close to operable? Or is this just more evidence that the whole exotic 'UFO' patent endeavor on the Navy's behalf is some sort of ruse or even gross mismanagement of resources?
quote:
All of these technologies - the room temperature superconductor, the high-energy electromagnetic field generator, and the hybrid aerospace/underwater craft (HUAC) - are inventions of the same NAWCAD aerospace engineer, the aforementioned Salvatore Cezar Pais. Our previous article on the Navy’s patents explored the hybrid craft and whether or not it could be related to other developments such as Navy pilots reporting strange objects in U.S. airspace during training exercises and members of Congress now asking for answers on UFOs.
Here is where things get really interesting...
quote:
In the patent for the HEEMFG, the technology is described as being able to create what is essentially a force field straight out of science fiction, one that could generate “an impenetrable defensive shield to sea and land as well as space-based military and civilian assets, protecting these assets from such threats as Anti-Ship Ballistic Missiles, Radar Evading Cruise Missiles, Top Attack for Main Battle Tanks (land and sea-based systems), as well as counteracting the effects of solar-induced Coronal Mass Ejections or defending critical military satellites in an ASAT [anti-satellite] role (space based system).”
quote:
In his presentation at the 2019 AIAA SciTech Forum, Pais claims that this device could even serve as an optimal asteroid deflector to save the world from 99942 Apophis, a 370-meter diameter near-Earth asteroid which has been predicted to come dangerously close to our planet in 2029 and 2036.
quote:
While saving the world from a massive asteroid is without a doubt a worthwhile application of this alleged high energy electromagnetic field generator, the military applications of this supposed technology would give a paradigm-exploding advantage to any military wielding such an impenetrable electromagnetic force field. Is it only a hypothetical technology, though? The inventor and his attorney assured the patent office it is indeed operable, at least to some degree.
I have argued that cyclical cataclysm has befallen the Earth many times...
My addition:

This gets into interesting territory of mainstream science and hidden science...

Glut goes even further with somewhat of a dig at USPTO examiner Paul A. This gets into interesting territory of mainstream science and hidden science...
So they ask a mainstream scientist to weigh in...
quote:
To help contextualize the science or pseudoscience behind these patents and what it may or may not signify, I spoke with Dr. Mark Gubrud, a University of North Carolina physicist who teaches Peace, War & Defense courses and whose PhD is in ultra-low temperature and nanoscale experimental physics. Like many physicists, Gubrud has for years encountered claims of room-temperature superconductors and so-called spacetime metric engineering:
quote:
I asked for Gubrud’s opinion on why Dr. James Sheehy would vouch for Pais’ patents, to which he replied that it’s likely someone at NAWCAD has been misled or fooled:
"I don't know why Sheehy defended Pais's patents. I am certain it's not because they really make some kind of sense. I suspect the story is just one professional charlatan who has embedded himself in the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, plus one or a few supervisors he's managed to fool. It's possible, of course, that it is a bigger story which involves some actual 'experiments' and expenditure of funds, which is now being protected from scrutiny."
He concludes that a charlatan has infiltrated and fooled the highest level of the Navy (of course they do...)
quote:
With all this in mind, it's certainly possible that these patents are part of some ongoing information campaign designed to make America’s competitors question what types of black budget research is currently underway at NAWCAD and other research organizations. With so many revolutionary new aerospace technologies on the brink of deployment, perhaps this is an attempt to essentially “weaponize” patents and sow doubt among our adversaries and even inject confusion among the American populous.
That scenario seems more likely given the fact that the Naval Aviation Enterprise Chief Technical Officer Dr. Sheehy claimed Chinese advances in similar capabilities as a means of getting the hybrid aerospace/underwater craft patent application approved. The U.S. and China are in a new technological arms race to develop the next generations of aircraft and advanced weaponry. Part of this race includes producing disinformation and misinformation to make your enemy invest resources, both intelligence and research and development related, that are, for lack of a better word, dead-ends.
Being able to explain away strange objects in the sky as UFOs, which may indeed be emerging classified capabilities, is also beneficial both here at home and abroad. Overall, these patents certainly add to an increasingly complex narrative mosaic that is emanating directly from the Navy, one that began just as a new era of so-called 'great power competition' was being declared at the highest rungs of the Pentagon's leadership. At the same time, maybe this is the Pentagon's grasping attempt to try to make sense of and emulate mysterious and seemingly highly advanced craft that are supposedly being increasingly observed near its own aircraft, vessels, and installations. Maybe the Chinese competition claim is just a placeholder for the unknown.
It's also at least worth considering that some breakthroughs in highly exotic propulsion might have been made and that the Navy is willing to invest big bucks into seeing them progress further. Maybe those advances happened many years ago and only now is the Pentagon willing to slowly disclose them. Or all this could be a case of wasteful, misguided, or even downright corrupt spending on ideas that have no real chance of paying off down the line.
The bottom line is that after months of investigation, reaching out directly to the Navy and all those involved, as well filing numerous FOIA requests that will take months or even years to process, there is still so much we don't know about the technological developments the Navy is pursuing or that it is at least acting like it's pursuing. The existence of these patents and the underlying documentation we've brought to light and examined has only made this case more puzzling, especially in contrast to experts we have talked to who claim there is no way these patents could describe actual working technologies.
One thing is certain, our investigation into these patents and the Navy-funded research that led to them has only just begun.

With the mindset above (mainstream vs fringe), I present to you hypersanity (embrace it...)

quote:
The hypersane are among us, if only we are prepared to look
quote:
‘Hypersanity’ is not a common or accepted term. But neither did I make it up. I first came across the concept while training in psychiatry, in The Politics of Experience and the Bird of Paradise (1967) by R D Laing. In this book, the Scottish psychiatrist presented ‘madness’ as a voyage of discovery that could open out onto a free state of higher consciousness, or hypersanity. For Laing, the descent into madness could lead to a reckoning, to an awakening, to ‘break-through’ rather than ‘breakdown’.
quote:
The Laingian concept of hypersanity, though modern, has ancient roots. Once, upon being asked to name the most beautiful of all things, Diogenes the Cynic (412-323 BCE) replied parrhesia, which in Ancient Greek means something like ‘uninhibited thought’, ‘free speech’, or ‘full expression’. Diogenes used to stroll around Athens in broad daylight brandishing a lit lamp. Whenever curious people stopped to ask what he was doing, he would reply: ‘I am just looking for a human being’ – thereby insinuating that the people of Athens were not living up to, or even much aware of, their full human potential.
quote:
Jung and Diogenes came across as insane by the standards of their day. But both men had a depth and acuteness of vision that their contemporaries lacked, and that enabled them to see through their facades of ‘sanity’. Both psychosis and hypersanity place us outside society, making us seem ‘mad’ to the mainstream. Both states attract a heady mixture of fear and fascination. But whereas mental disorder is distressing and disabling, hypersanity is liberating and empowering.
quote:
After reading The Politics of Experience, the concept of hypersanity stuck in my mind, not least as something that I might aspire to for myself. But if there is such a thing as hypersanity, the implication is that mere sanity is not all it’s cracked up to be, a state of dormancy and dullness with less vital potential even than madness. This I think is most apparent in people’s frequently suboptimal – if not frankly inappropriate – responses, both verbal and behavioural, to the world around them. As Laing puts it:
The condition of alienation, of being asleep, of being unconscious, of being out of one’s mind, is the condition of the normal man. Society highly values its normal man. It educates children to lose themselves and to become absurd, and thus to be normal. Normal men have killed perhaps 100,000,000 of their fellow normal men in the last 50 years. Many ‘normal’ people suffer from not being hypersane: they have a restricted worldview, confused priorities, and are wracked by stress, anxiety and self-deception. As a result, they sometimes do dangerous things, and become fanatics or fascists or otherwise destructive (or not constructive) people. In contrast, hypersane people are calm, contained and constructive. It is not just that the ‘sane’ are irrational but that they lack scope and range, as though they’ve grown into the prisoners of their arbitrary lives, locked up in their own dark and narrow subjectivity. Unable to take leave of their selves, they hardly look around them, barely see beauty and possibility, rarely contemplate the bigger picture – and all, ultimately, for fear of losing their selves, of breaking down, of going mad, using one form of extreme subjectivity to defend against another, as life – mysterious, magical life – slips through their fingers.
We could all go mad, in a way we already are, minus the promise. But what if there were another route to hypersanity, one that, compared with madness, was less fearsome, less dangerous, and less damaging? What if, as well as a backdoor way, there were also a royal road strewn with sweet-scented petals? After all, Diogenes did not exactly go mad. Neither did other hypersane people such as Socrates and Confucius, although the Buddha did suffer, in the beginning, with what might today be classed as depression.
quote:
Besides Jung, are there any modern examples of hypersanity? Those who escaped from Plato’s cave of shadows were reluctant to crawl back down and involve themselves in the affairs of men, and most hypersane people, rather than courting the limelight, might prefer to hide out in their back gardens.
quote:
While they might seem to be living in a world of their own, this is only because they have delved more deeply into the way things are than those ‘sane’ people around them.

THE ATLANTIC: IT’S POSSIBLE DINOSAURS HAD A WHOLE CIVILIZATION
AUGUST 14TH 19__DAN ROBITZSKI__FILED UNDER: EARTH & ENERGY
quote:
It’s technically possible that dinosaurs, in all of their gigantic glory, developed an advanced technological civilization that we’ll never know about. The idea, a thought experiment crafted by The Atlantic writer Peter Brannen, is meant to illustrate how all of the damage done to the world by humanity happened in the blink of an eye in terms of geological timescales — meaning that an archaeologist in the future might not even know that we were ever here. King Koopa Brannen isn’t saying that dinosaurs definitely had a high-tech civilization like in that 1993 so-bad-it’s-funny live-action “Super Mario Bros.” film. But if they somehow did, we’d have no way of knowing. Brannen writes:
If, in the final 7,000 years of their reign, dinosaurs became hyperintelligent, built a civilization, started asteroid mining, and did so for centuries before forgetting to carry the one on an orbital calculation, thereby sending that famous valedictory six-mile space rock hurtling senselessly toward the Earth themselves — it would be virtually impossible to tell. All we do know is that an asteroid did hit, and that the fossils in the millions of years afterward look very different than in the millions of years prior.
Even if these hypothetical technosaurs obliterated each other with nuclear bombs, there wouldn’t be any evidence of the explosions for modern day scientists to study. The longest-lasting radioactive isotope from a nuclear blast has a half-life of about 16 million years, according to The Atlantic — meaning that by now, any evidence of Triassic nukes would have long since dissipated, and there’s a good chance that the evidence of our civilization will do the same.

Do Reptilian Humanoids Exist? August 1, 2019
quote:
Reptilian beings have been depicted throughout history and are chronicled by cultures around the world. Seven thousand-year-old human-serpent statues were uncovered in Mesopotamia. Ancient Sumerians spoke of the Anunnaki, an extraterrestrial race said to have influenced mankind. Asian mythology described dragon emperors who ruled the land. Indigenous South Americans worshipped Quetzalcoatl, a snake-god. In modern times, supposed alien abductees have repeatedly witnessed lizard-like humanoids. Conspiracy theorists claim the world is run by an elite group of shapeshifting reptiles. While many scoff at the idea of aforementioned entities, some researchers argue that had dinosaurs survived they would have evolved into these very creatures.
Dale Russell is an American-Canadian geologist, college professor and paleontologist. He first proposed the “dinosauroid” theory in 1982 after an extensive decades-long investigation of the Troodon. These prehistoric animals had large eyes with binocular-like vision and abnormally large brains. Their IQs measured six times higher than other dinosaurs. Troodontids possessed semi-manipulative fingers and could grasp objects with their hands. Russell’s extensive studies suggested they were progressing into highly intelligent lifeforms. In fact, the enigmatic species would have shared an eerily close resemblance to modern humans. Artist Ron Seguin created a life-sized sculptural rendition under Russell’s guidance and the result is quite unsettling.
quote:
Betsey Lewis, author of Ancient Serpent Gods: The Alien Connection to Reptilian Dinosaurs, theorized that not all sentient dinosaurs were obliterated in the K-T mass extinction. She speculated some retreated underground and lived in subterranean lands deep beneath the Earth. This interpretation coincides with the 1999 transcription “Lacerta Files” which stated opposable thumbed Iguanodons survived annihilation. Eventually, the bipedal brutes evolved into Saurians, a supposed type of reptoid which dwell underground. Saurians appear in Egyptian and Mayan inscriptions as well as religious writings including the Hebrew Bible, Vedas and Quran.
quote:
During the nineteenth century, Carlos Ribeiro uncovered twenty-million-year-old hand-worked flint tools in Portugal. Paleoanthropologists estimate our earliest primordial ancestors first surfaced only five million years ago. Therefore, the archaic instruments had been crafted by evolving reptiles. Belgium’s Museum of Natural Sciences is said to house thirty-million year old relics which are securely locked away from public viewers. Thousands of artifacts dating back to the Eocene period became unearthed in Californian rock mines. Neither monkeys nor apes existed half a billion years ago. Some believe the evidence is concealed as it does not coincide with scientists’ current version of history.

Navy withholding data on UFO sightings, congressman says
By BRYAN BENDER 09/06/2019 06:13 PM EDT Updated 09/06/2019 07:27 PM EDT
quote:
A top Republican on the House Homeland Security Committee is accusing the Navy of withholding information about reports of unidentified aircraft after officially requesting more data on the mysterious encounters.
Rep. Mark Walker of North Carolina, the ranking member of the Intelligence and Counterrorism subcommittee, asked Secretary Richard V. Spencer in July to outline what resources the Navy is dedicating to investigating the sightings. He also asked if officials have found "physical evidence" to substantiate the claims, and whether they are aware of any foreign nations or private companies that have introduced breakthrough technologies that could explain them.
Navy Undersecretary Thomas Modly responded in a brief letter on July 31 that "the Department of the Navy takes these reports very seriously and continues to log sightings and fully investigate the accounts," according to a copy provided to POLITICO. But Walker said he is discouraged by the Navy's seeming unwillingness to provide his committee with more data about the so-called unidentified aerial phenomena — the term the Pentagon prefers over the more traditional "unidentified flying objects," or UFOs. He has expressed concern publicly that the craft could pose a threat to U.S. forces or territory.
“While I am encouraged the Under Secretary of the Navy confirmed that UAP encounters are fully investigated, there is frustration with the lack of answers to specific questions about the threat that superior aircraft flying in United States airspace may pose," Walker told POLITICO in a statement.
quote:
Among the revelations were sightings reported by pilots and other personnel assigned to the USS Nimitz and the USS Theodore Roosevelt battlegroups in 2004, 2015 and 2016, including footage of unknown aircraft exhibiting characteristics that appear to defy known aerodynamic properties. The Pentagon also financed a series of theoretical studies to try to explain how the aircraft might operate — ranging from "Detection and High Resolution Tracking of Vehicles at Hypersonic Velocities" to "Warp Drive, Dark Energy, and the Manipulation of Extra Dimensions."
quote:
POLITICO first reported in April that the Navy has updated the process for personnel to report unidentified aircraft. But Walker specifically queried the Navy on "UAPs," not drones — citing reports of aircraft traveling at speeds and making maneuvers that go well beyond what is believed to be technologically possible.
quote:
In the recent interview, Walker, a former pastor, also acknowledged that he is open to the possibility that there are no easy explanations — or the answers could change how humanity perceives the known universe.
"The way I look at this: What if [U.S. government agencies] already do know about it but the rest of us don’t?" he added. "I certainly have an open mind to see where this leads us. We are going to stay on the issue and follow through like we said we wanted to do."

'UFOs' caught on video buzzing around Mexico's Popocatépetl volcano.

Extra-terrestrial visitors to our small planet just can’t seem to leave the Mexican volcano Popcatépetl alone. For years now, grainy video footage purporting to show flying saucers – or cigars or circles – have turned up buzzing the air space around the mountain. The latest is a stop-motion image captured last Saturday by one of the cameras of Webcams de Mexico showing a series of blobs of light rising up in front of the volcano, and then, after the lights wink out, dropping back down.

Mysterious Oregon cattle killings, mutilations alarm ranchers
Updated Aug 22, 4:38 PM; Posted Aug 22, 12:29 PM
quote:
by the time ranch hands discovered four more dead bulls within 24 hours, they knew they were likely dealing with deliberate, premeditated killings.
They’re still baffled by the circumstances. There were no wounds. No signs of a struggle. And the bulls’ genitals and tongues had been carefully removed.
The killing and mutilation of the 4 and 5-year-old Hereford bulls in the prime of their productive lives has since spurred a multi-agency investigation in eastern Oregon, but detectives have turned up no leads and haven’t yet even settled on a cause of death.
quote:
“How somebody put these bulls on the ground at what would be arguably a fairly close range — and to do it in a way that didn’t leave any signs, no trace evidence, no footprints, no struggle marks from the animal, no broken limbs — I have no idea,” said Colby Marshall, vice president of the Silvies Valley Ranch.
The mystery deepens because there’s no obvious reason someone would want those animal parts. They aren’t prime targets for black market sales, authorities said.
The deaths are eerily similar to a rash of livestock killings and mutilations across the West in the 1970s, when hundreds of cows and bulls turned up dead, also of seemingly unknown causes and with their genitals and tongues missing.
quote:
Jenkins, the lead investigator on the case, said the lack of physical evidence at the crime sites — no footprints, no tire or ATV tracks — means authorities are relying on witnesses to call in to the tip line and report any suspicious activity they might have seen in the area.
quote:
Taking down a 2,000-pound bull is no easy feat, and Marshall said there were no signs of a struggle — the bulls were all lying on their sides as if they had just fallen over and died.

Investigation continues in death, mutilation of bulls By SIERRA DAWN McCLAIN Capital Press
Aug 7, 2019
quote:
As an isolated incident, the case might appear a strange fluke. But according to the FBI, thousands of killings and mutilations of cows have happened since the 1970s. The animals typically die in the same way with the same body parts removed. Jenkins said it’s hard to tell how these five bulls died. There are no entry wounds. A metal detector scan revealed no bullets. According to National Weather Service data, the past month has had no major lightning storms in the area that could have killed cattle. Based on the lunar calendar from the 2019 Farmer’s Almanac, the deaths could not have happened during a full moon. Colby Marshall, vice president of Silvies Valley Ranch, said there were no outward signs of a struggle — no rope burns on trees, no scattered hoof prints, no strangulation marks, no blood. The bulls, he said, look like they simply fell over and died.
quote:
Marshall said that even though livestock workers are on the property with the cattle every day, it’s a rough, forested terrain so it’s understandable that the bulls weren’t found for a few days. “People always seem surprised that a cattle rancher wouldn’t notice some of his animals are dead right away,” said Jerome Rosa, executive director of the Oregon Cattlemen’s Association. “What they don’t realize is the enormity of these properties. Unless you’re in a plane or helicopter, you can’t see everything that’s happening.”
The bolded above is an important consideration...
quote:
According to Rosa of the OCA, it’s not unusual to find small body parts missing in natural predatory cases. When coyotes and wolves find a carcass, Rosa said, they often go for the easy pickings first, chewing off parts like testicles and tongues. What’s strange about this case is that the areas with missing parts don’t appear to have been chewed. Jenkins, the deputy, said the wounds, when examined, appeared clean-cut. “The parts were definitely cut out with a sharp blade,” he said. “There weren’t any signs of predatory eating or chewing. They were cut out by at least one person.”
quote:
“Whenever there’s a case like this, all the conspiracy theorists come out,” said Jenkins. “Some say it was done by aliens. Others say it’s a cult doing a satanic practice. Some even think it’s the government. It’s a little ridiculous. I’m confident some person or group did this, and we’re trying to get to the bottom of it.”

Europe's Space Agency Wants People to Live Inside Moon Caves
The agency wants input on how to send robots to the Moon to explore the virtually unseen caves, which could one day shelter humans.

The Moon’s surface is hosting an increasing number of experiments, robots, and most recently tardigrades. The many underground tunnels that lie beneath the Moon’s surface, however, remain virtually unexplored. On Wednesday, the European Space Agency (ESA) put out a call for ideas about how to navigate, map, and study these Moon caves in future robotic missions. The campaign is one of many recent projects focused on the exploration of so-called lunar lava tubes, especially their potential as sites for future Moon bases fit for long-term habitation by humans.

The caves could “shield astronauts from cosmic radiation and micrometeorites and possibly provide access to icy water and other resources trapped underground,” said Franceso Sauro, director of ESA’s PANGAEA planetary geology astronaut training, in a statement.

China's lunar rover discovers strange substance on far side of the moon

China's Yutu-2 rover, launched as part of the Chang'e 4 mission, is the first ever robot to explore the far side of the moon. Since landing in January, it's snapped gorgeous views of the lunar surface and made one unexpected discovery. Now, its made another surprising find: hidden in a crater, Yutu-2 has discovered an unusual substance with a "gel-like" appearance.
quote:
Three days into day 8, a member of the Chang'e 4 team was reviewing images taken during by the rover and noticed a strangely colored material, distinct from the gray soil around it. Yutu-2 was scheduled to move on, but the team instead turned their attention toward the substance and sent the rover to the crater for a better look. The Yutu-2 "drive diary" says the team commanded the rover to point its spectrometer, a device which can evaluate the composition of materials, at the unusual substance.
quote:
The team didn't indicate what the substance might be and sadly, haven't shared an image of the weird material. The team did, however, share an image of the rover heading for the crater to have a gander at what's inside.

Mysterious mass of moon metal discovered under lunar south pole
NASA wants to send astronauts in 5 years to check out the area. They may want to bring metal detectors.

quote:
Scientists say there's something unusual and metallic buried beneath the moon's south pole. No, it isn't a lost lunar Atlantis built by ancient aliens, but more likely the remnant of a colossal collision that formed the largest crater in the solar system.
"Imagine taking a pile of metal five times larger than the Big Island of Hawaii and burying it underground. That's roughly how much unexpected mass we detected," said Peter B. James, assistant professor of planetary geophysics at Baylor University, in a release.
A team of researchers led by James analyzed gravity data for the moon from NASA's Gravity Recovery and Interior Laboratory (GRAIL) mission and cross-referenced it with lunar topography from the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter to find the surprising mass hundreds of miles beneath the moon's South Pole-Aitken basin.
The basin near the bottom of our sole natural satellite is an oval-shaped crater several miles deep and up to 1,242 miles (2,000 kilometers) wide. If you're wondering why you may not have seen it before, that's because it's on the moon's far side.

A Second Failed Moon Landing
India lost contact with its spacecraft just before touchdown. Why is it so hard to stick a lunar landing?
MARINA KOREN
SEP 7, 2019
quote:
The latest attempt to land on the moon may have failed this week, after an Indian spacecraft—an uncrewed, robotic mission—appeared to have potentially crashed. The Chandrayaan-2 mission, developed and launched by India’s space agency, began orbiting the moon in August and released a lander yesterday. Mission Control lost contact with the lander, named Vikram, as it neared the surface. Indian officials have not yet announced the cause of the failure.
quote:
Landsman would know. In April, his own lunar mission smashed into pieces on the surface. Like Vikram, the Beresheet lander, built by the Israeli nonprofit group SpaceIL, stopped calling home just before it was supposed to touch down. The only successful attempt this year was made in January, when China landed a spacecraft, with rover included, on the far side of the moon, the face that never turns toward Earth—a world first.
quote:
Chandrayaan, Sanskrit for “moon craft,” launched in July, poised to make India only the fourth country to land something on the moon, after the United States, China, and the former Soviet Union. A decade earlier, the Chandrayaan-1 mission delivered an orbiter carrying a probe that was deliberately crashed into the surface as a test run. This time, the orbiter would deploy a lander and rover for a gentle landing. They were bound for the side of the moon that we can see, to a spot near its south pole, a place other spacefaring nations, including the United States, are eyeing for its potentially numerous reservoirs of frozen water—an indispensable resource for a future moon base.
See info above about the South side...
We are not supposed to see what is there...

Vikram Moon lander: The anxious wait for a signal from lunar surface
By James Rogers | Fox News

Scientists in India are attempting to make contact with the Vikram probe after its nerve-wracking descent to the surface of the moon last week.
The Indian Space Research Organization lost contact with the uncrewed probe when it was in the final stage of an audacious moon-landing attempt Friday.
However, K Sivan, chairman of the Indian Space Research Organization, confirmed Sunday that the lander had been spotted. He told the Times of India that the space agency's Chandrayaan-2 orbiter has spotted Vikram on the lunar service. ISRO is analyzing the data, he said.
INDIA FINDS MISSING VIKRAM PROBE ON THE SURFACE OF THE MOON
"It must have been a hard landing," The Press Trust of India news agency quoted Sivan as saying Sunday.
quote:
Communication with the unmanned lander was lost when it was just 1.3 miles from the lunar surface.
“All the systems and sensors of the Lander functioned excellently until this point and proved many new technologies such as variable thrust propulsion technology used in the Lander,” said ISRO, in a statement Saturday.
However, it is not yet clear what damage the lander suffered during its descent. The U.S., Russia and China are the only other countries to have successfully landed on the moon.

U.S. Navy Confirms Videos Depict ‘Unidentified Aerial Phenomena’; Not Cleared For Public Release
10 September, 2019 / in The Fringe, UFO Phenomena By John Greenewald, Jr., The Black Vault — Originally Published September 10th, 2019
quote:
In a series of statements obtained exclusively by The Black Vault, the U.S. Navy confirms three UFO related videos represent what they call “unidentified aerial phenomena” or UAPs.
Originally released by the New York Times and To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science (TTSA) beginning in December of 2017, the three videos are commonly referred to as the “FLIR1,” “Gimble” and “GoFast” (the third being released in March 2018). According to TTSA’s website, the clips represent, “… the first official evidence released by the US government that can be rightfully designated as credible, authentic confirmation that unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) are real.” The Navy’s official position now confirms TTSA’s claims, at least, in part.
“The Navy designates the objects contained in these videos as unidentified aerial phenomena,” said Joseph Gradisher, official spokesperson for the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Information Warfare. When asked why the phrase “UAP” is now utilized by the U.S. Navy, and not “UFO,” Mr. Gradisher added, “The ‘Unidentified Aerial Phenomena’ terminology is used because it provides the basic descriptor for the sightings/observations of unauthorized/unidentified aircraft/objects that have been observed entering/operating in the airspace of various military-controlled training ranges.”
However, the Navy also asserts that the three videos were never cleared for public release, thus confirming the official stance of the Pentagon originally issued to The Black Vault in May of 2019, and contradicting TTSA’s widespread claims the U.S. government “declassified” the footage for public consumption. “The videos were never officially released to the general public by the DoD and should still be withheld,” said Pentagon Spokesperson Susan Gough to The Black Vault earlier this year. Mr. Gradisher, on behalf of the Navy, confirms the Pentagon’s position this week by adding, “The Navy has not released the videos to the general public.”

SETI, OR SAC: SHOULD THE SEARCH FOR EXTRATERRESTRIAL INTELLIGENCE BE A SEARCH FOR ALIEN CONSCIOUSNESS?
GREGSATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 14TH

Firstly, the three authors of the paper:
Jacques Vallee himself – a polymath known mostly for his status in the field of ufology, but who also holds higher degrees in astrophysics and computer science, is an award-winning novelist, a venture capitalist, and contributed to the foundations of the internet via his work for the ARPANET.
Federico Faggin – physicist, engineer, entrepreneur and inventor, perhaps best known for designing the first commercial microprocessor, the Intel 4004.
Garry Nolan – a renowned professor of microbiology and immunology with Stanford University (head of the ‘Nolan Lab’). Nolan was in the news last year for his investigation of the Atacama ‘alien mummy’ (and is also rumoured to be the pseudonymous ‘James’ in Diana Walsh Pasulka’s American Cosmic). As for the topics? While the title of the paper – “Towards Multi-Disciplinary SETI Research” (PDF) –
quote:
It begins by recapitulating SETI’s origins in the ‘Drake Equation‘, and the organisation’s failure to find any evidence of extraterrestrial intelligence in subsequent decades.
In this paper, we draw lessons from the non-detection of such recognizable electromagnetic signals despite more than a half-century of sustained effort. We propose to broaden the scope of the Drake equation parameters by leveraging recently-discovered facts about forms of life, consciousness, and potential communication modes that the founders of SETI didn’t have at their disposal in the initial decades. We also support the concept of an expanded EM search in less noisy environments.
quote:
Vallee, Faggin and Nolan raise two points in regards to revising the Drake Equation: the first being, rather than searching for the conditions of life as we know it, “and of intelligence directly derived from such life”, instead, “couldn’t we pose the problem in the form of “a search for consciousness?”
If we assume that consciousness may not always be attached to a body in the material, biological sense as we currently understand it, how could the parameters in Drake’s equation be revised?
quote:
And then, the trio head into territory that probably turned a few faces white within SETI…
To this point, new models for the evolution of consciousness and matter are under study that suggest novel possibilities to interpret the nature of reality and which are at odds with a materialistic worldview. This includes the possibility of other forms of communication or contact with alien intelligences that are considered “science fiction” by mainstream science, yet have an extraordinary history of anecdotal evidence. We are speaking of everything from telepathy, empathy, remote viewing, and out of body experiences that may be pointing towards channels of communications beyond what electromagnetic waves can reveal. …The proteins in our brain that form our neurons sit in a quantum mix where information is transferred in still unfathomable manners. Are those proteins and biologicals completely blind to all forms of information passing through them?
