let me just make this point in a different way. you know who promotes the frick out of countries like Norway, even above the US?

LINK

quote:

In his first interview on ABC’s “This Week” since declaring his candidacy, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) said the US should operate more like the Scandinavian countries of Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

“I can hear the Republican attack ad right now: ‘He wants America to look more like Scandinavia,’” countered ABC host George Stephanopoulos.

how racist is Bernie Sanders?

Why don't you actually take a look at the people that are being brought into this country? There is nothing racist about it... Do you think per capita Norway has better educated people or Nigeria or Mexico? It has nothing to do with race...

Do you think per capita Japan has a better educated population than Somalia or even Yemen?

I remember that trip. Bill Clinton got all the glowing headlines, Bush was criticized for wiping his hands after he touched a sweaty worker.

Yes we all know about history. The number one thing we know is that history cannot be changed - it can be lied about or celebrated but it cannot be changed until Stephen Hawkins invents a time machine and goes back and kills every indiividual who dares try to invent a steam engine - or goes even further back and changes the physics of molecules so they they do not react to oxygen to produce heat.

History happened - we have to deal with the consequences of what has happened, not flagellate ourselves over the 'mistakes' our ancestors made which inconvenience our newly minted social senses.

If Haiti is a shithole - then the sensible thing to do is work to improve Haiti. It is not sensible to pretend that Haiti is not a shithole, and to use the poor souls who happen to live there as pawns in our new-found "see how bad our history is" game which has the goal of duplicating the Haiti experiences right here in America just so 'we' can be punished for the 'evil that our forefathers did.'

I just dont understand how a person can be so intellectually dishonest with themselves as the modern 'progressive' Social Justice Warriors require them to be.

It is disgusting.

Damn - you are doubling down on your racism. You fit the actual definition of a racist to a tee.

ALL you see about a person is the color of their skin. You make NO distinction between two people based on their education, competence, character, culture, fitness, or any other characteristic which distinguishes one PERSON from another PERSON.

ALL you see is the color of their skin. And even then you have to modify your warped reality to account for the many examples of your preferred "color of the victims" acting in ways opposite to your prejudices. This leads you to besmirch people like Clarance Thomas, Thomas Sowell, et al as "uncle Tom traitors' to the 'cause.'

You are racist scum - go the hell away.

i mean even the white supremacy argument blows up in their face when they choose to promote Scandinavian countries like Norway as an example for the US. you never see them promoting Haiti or some SSA country as their example for the US

Take a look at this OP that has 93 upvotes, 17 downvotes.

Lots of people didn't move on but are pretty enthusiastic about these comments. frick Haiti? Why do you think board posters are enjoying this so much? Is this just that this triggers the libz?

Why does Bernie and his merry band of liberals promote Norway and it's neighbors so much? He's racist?

Because they have social democratic policies that he would like to implement here.

What's your opinion on the conservative euphoria I linked to in the post above?

Plenty of sub Saharan African and Central American countries are more socialist than the US

I imagine Haiti is too but I don't know much about Haiti other than it's one of the literal worst countries on Earth

Why aren't you constantly promoting socialist African countries?

They're tired of being told that we have to support immigration from these countries or else they're a bad person
