'one of our key objectives is to strengthen the financial stability of the company....'
Novavax has already reduced year-to-date operating expenses by $950 million, or 47% compared to 2022
The company’s updated COVID-19 booster shot, which received U.S. regulatory approval this fall, is now available in more than 14,000 pharmacies, including Costco, CVS, Giant, Publix, Rite Aid and Stop & Shop. Novavax expects U.S. demand for the vaccine for the 2023-2024 season to be between 30 million and 50 million doses.
Novavax expects to begin Phase 3 clinical trials for its combination vaccine in the second half of 2024, with possible approval as early as 2026.
I'm sure the push for this combo which only clowns will ask for has little to do with revenue and a lot to do with concern for public health.

Wasn't this the one made with traditional methods and not the mRNA tech?

You are correct, it is protein-based not mRna-based.
Still, I find the combo problematic. It's also possible that the mRNA proponents are trying to push them out of the competitive arena.

Yes

This is the one I was interested in two years ago. However, now that we know the threat of Covid, and the lack of need for shots for Covid, Novavax has missed the train on timing. It would have made a crap ton of money had it had its shite together two years ago.

Imagine creating a drug for which you have ZERO liability, an entire Fed Gov mandating its use……and you STILL can’t make money!
