Its just no country for old men.
We make up things to explain the unexplainable, and then pretend they actually exist.

The philosophy among the Left (and its media mouthpiece) is that there is some sort of nobility bestowed via victimhood. Belonging to a group positioned as victimized automatically allows its members to glom onto this faux nobility.
All of that means finding the weak-minded (those who can only feel important or worthwhile by gaining attention for what they are as opposed to their accomplishments and/or abilities) clumping together into groups delineated by bizarre and/or manufactured criteria. Along with that, they get bonus victimization points for any intersectionalities they can claim.
