Last time I checked, They were still owned by the mouse. That's the problem with ESPN, in that it isn't just ESPN.

It's Disney/ABC/ESPN

The same hacks that hates Muhammad Ali in the 70s, love him
Now.

The same jackasses that hates Colin Kapenick will he naming their sons Colin in 25 years or will be acting as if they were a supporter of his in 25 years.

Same idiots that loved John rocker and hated John Amechi, the gay DE from Mizzou and The gay Collins twin will be champions for gay rights in 25 years.

We know how these busters operate

The only fans that don’t want politics covered are right wing zealots who disagree with the liberal/left leaning politics of the athletes they watch.

If a bunch of trump frumpers were waging their MAGA tails around on ESPN, they’d love it.

bullshite. I watch political shows for the politics, and sports shows for sports. ESPN didn't lose subscribers because of left leaning athletes. They lost subscribers because they chose to engage in left leaning politics.

How would minorities possibly survive if they didn't have you to virtue-signal for them 24/7? Without you, the self-proclaimed "Great White Hope for People of Color," surely they would have become extinct by now.

Dude, you're the biggest phony here.

Well, that certainly is one way of looking at it.

They need to drop the “E” and focus on and advance the sports programming network. Honestly, I don’t expect them to stop pushing their political agenda, just mask and make it more subtle. Disney is as liberal/progressive as it gets in Hollywood and that is who owns the network.

Except for the Saints, I haven't watched an NFL game in 3 years. I know I'm not the only one, because I heard Dan Bongino say practically the same thing a day or two ago.

Oh, and ESPN hasn't received a penny from me in years.

I don't think their demprog politics will hurt actual sports events in most cases, but adding a liberal turd to the sports news and talk shows punch bowl has done a lot of damage to the brand. ESPN was a slow learner on that score, but someone can read the bottom line.

That doesn't mean they can't watch it on 3rd party streams.

That sucks for you. The last 3 NFL seasons have been great.

How many of you idiots does it take to know that you don't have free speech in a workplace? Reasons like this is exactly why. You don't want employees going at it and you don't want to turn away your viwers/ customers.

That makes up about 25% of their programming. This is about the other 75%.

I used to have good political conversations with my conservative and liberal coworkers.

We disagreed, but we didn't get triggered. Can't do that now. There's a certain faction that gets unhinged when they don't have an echo chamber. The hive mind is strong with them.

ESPN should have followed the protocol of the workplace.

You don't talk about politics, religion or sex.

You're there to provide a sports service.

Stephen A. Smith, Skip Bayless and Jemelle Hill aren't qualified to talk about history, government and societal issues.
