I admit I am ignorant on how this school works, but I bet LeBron has 0% to do with "running it"
If he's providing any funding, he is involved in running it.

Is it because they want to "Be Like Lebron"?

No, No, No.......Every single leftist loon will tell you "They just didn't do it right" and you simply didn't "Throw enough money at the problem", they created

So, throwing money and more money at education doesn't mean that it works eventually? Imagine that...
Joe Rogan said we need to pump a shite ton of money into inner city schools like a week or 2 ago. I about snapped!
We have been doing this shite forever. There mixed results at best for the Newark schools that Zuckerberg gave to Cory Booker when he was Mayor.
I guarantee the schools that are exceling are the ones with parents involved. Public or Private.
The schools with the least amount of parents showing up to school board meetings are doing the worst. It's not really that hard to figure out. If the parents don't care, the school won't either.

Quite right. Parents who are actively involved in their child's education improve educational outcomes. Schools that welcome and encourage parental involvement have higher test scores, better attendance, better behavior, and more job satisfaction among school staff.

It's only going to get worse in urban areas. Imagine how many of the single parent families are actually being raised by a grandparent.. who is going to be the grandparent after the next round?

They're sent there to learn to identify as victims, not to learn math.

We are already seeing this in urban areas. The kids typically wind up being raised by the state with predictable results. I learned last week that one such former student was found dead on the street from an overdose.
