There were a decent number of internet busybodies positing Cruz banged Boebert because his campaign made a donation to her campaign.

And then they pretended Boebert had a history as an escort.

There’s no depth they won’t plumb.

i've thought about a thread on christian nationalism, asking for people's definitions.

i'm a flawed christian. i think nationalistic policies are best.

i think the country would be better off to adhere to more christian tenets while embracing nationalism...

but i don't think we should be a theocracy or that my Christian beliefs outside of protecting others' lives and property should be law nor should my beliefs be forced on others.

am i a christian nationalist? i'm not asking sarcastically.

From an abstract standpoint, religion is a philosophy.

Wokeism and BBB has become a religion for Dems. Religion is steeped in virtue and the latter is steeped in virtue signaling.

You are using normal definitions of the word.

You believe Christian values are a better moral system to arrange a society around. I think that’s almost axiomatically true. The kaffeeklatsch crew here will vehemently disagree.

You also believe that the US has its own interests and culture which should be more important in forming our priorities as a nation than the interests and cultures of other countries which are not the US. That makes you a nationalist.

So, yes. You’re a Christian nationalist. And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Christian nationalism basically means white conservatives who generally follow Christian beliefs and think they are generally the standard. It's just another leftist boogeyman for peopl who dare defy them to be othered.

We aren't heading away from it because of her, either.

I've not even come close to making that argument. My argument is that she's a hypocrite and no better than those she claims to be above because of her "strong Christian values."

She’s a hypocrite because her husband filed for divorce? You’re being a bitch. It’s not new. I’m just noting it for the record.

She makes it everyone's business when she pushes for Christian nationalism and berates others who don't have her "strong Christian values." Normally, I'd say who gives a frick, but she's a big fricking hypocrite and she deserves every bit of derision sent her way.

Give us a 1-10 level of hate. 10 being greatest.

How angry are you that the Affordable Care Act didn’t lower health care insurance costs by 2,500 a month?

How angry are you that the American Recovery and Reinvestment act did neither? To the point we just had to pass another infrastructure bill?

How angry are you that the Inflation Reduction Act isn’t reducing inflation?

How angry are you with people that pushed it?

1-10. East pleasy.

Look, you have two options.

You can continue to run your mouth about a topic you're clueless about or you can try reading for once in your life before you chime in with your inane rambling.

We know which you'll choose because it's the same story every time. But, there it is...

If I spent my time hating stupid people who do stupid things, I'd be just as miserable as you dipshits.
