I'm curious who the folks are that will sign their name to the opinion that we'll neither get a national lockdown/SIP order, nor an effective one because a majority of states will choose to issue one, independent of a federal order.

Cards on the table. (h/t The Maj)

1. Federal Lockdown

2. State by State Lockdown

3. No Lockdown

New York and California are both on a lockdown. The list of essential services is long but still technically a lock down. If you don't think more states will follow this lead you are absolutely kidding yourself.
I don't need my cousin's friend that is in the military to tell me anything. I can simply look at where we are today and compare it with where we were 5 days ago, and see the trend to know it is coming at some point soon.

Why are you complicating the question...

1. Federal Lockdown

2. State by State Lockdown

3. No Lockdown

I mean it’s really not a lockdown. Only thing that’s really locked down are restaurants and entertainment venues. Most most other businesses have a parts operational and people can travel via car or walk.

Fair enough, I appreciate the brevity.

shelter in place is coming, but essentials cannot be locked down. So basically like we are now but sort of different.

There may be a lockdown of sorts but they will still allow essential business, grocery, etc. and you will still be able to go to those places. There won't be like the lockdown like people think such as after the Boston Bombing when people had to stay inside and there were tanks going down the streets.

I agree completely. My point is more to identify those who are the first to fling shite when someone has passed along information they've received in good faith.

The NeverLockdown crowd is very adamant in their convictions, it would seem.

State by state. Number 3 should be taken off as an option.

Unless the Q thread theories are correct, there will be no federally mandated lockdown. Will be state to state decision.

I'll go on record saying I believe we in Oklahoma will not go on a lockdown. Not unless federally ordered.
