And Nike wouldn’t let Curry put a Bible verse on his shoes so he went with UA instead. But this is okay.

I really do not understand Nikes play here. Wokeness is one thing. I don’t agree with it but I can at least comprehend the logic or lack thereof. This is a complete puzzler.

Looks like it’s not Nike at all. He just took some old kicks and made them.

quote:

While the shoes are Nike’s classic Air Max ’97s, the shoe company has stated it is not involved with the creation or sale of the devilish kicks. Nike told fact-checking outlet Snopes in an email: “Nike did not release nor design these shoes.” MSCF confirmed the Air Max ’97 shoes are bought independently and customized by its artists.

So now mankind is openly challenging GOD for all the World to see. Begging him to do something. History shows this isn't going end the way they thought it would.

This is the problem with people who post here. If you would actually read the article, you might draw different conclusions. Before you start being indignant about Nike’s logic, become a bit more introspective about your own.

Nike did not produce the end product. The article states very clearly that Nike had nothing to do with it.

You are letting headline writers influence your opinions. You might find yourself getting less worked up by turning the reading dial just slightly more toward the more learning side of the dial.

N*** is notoriously known for its child slave peddling brinksmanship. What's even more funny or pathetic is how the "woke" black millionaire athletes look the other way while getting paid.

They are the first to blather out Ebonic tirades against Trump for shite that never happened.

It’s art. No different than people who paint designs on Chuck Taylor canvas.

The company also made Jesus shoes, so they are not picking sides.

If it's being billed as a nike product, and nike didn't sign off on it, how is this not theft of their logo ?

Art is Andy Warhol painting images of Campbell's soup. He's not selling actual cans of soup though.

If every Christian boycotted Nike, they would end up in bankruptcy.
Just do it ......

Fair enough. I took your advice and read the article. It appears that he did do this on his own and Nike has said that they had nothing to do with it. However, they haven't tried to stop it or even invoke any kind of injunction against using the Nike logo. So again I state "I don't understand Nikes Play here".

Possibly. But Nike is involved. This is a Nike x MSCHF collaboration.

That being said, who cares? The shoes look like shite, but they aren't hurting anybody and they aren't encouraging anybody to commit crimes. Also, the same company had a Christian themed collaboration that actually didn't shite on Christianity (believe it or not).

Seeing so many "outraged" over these shoes reminds me of the faux outrage makes me absolutely despise the left. Don't be like that..
