Bro, honestly juneteenth has been big for decades... in br, it was always coupled with family day in the park at the state fairgrounds on airline by highland. I've heard the black national anthem played for years at sporting events (youth).

Eta: it was all black leagues basically, but the brec league that plays at memorial.plays it before the championship each yr.

Um. No it hasn't. I am from the south. Never heard of "Juneteenth" or a "black national anthem" until this year. And neither have THE VAST MAJORITY of people, whether black or white.
Are you fricking gaslighting this board, pretending that this shite has always been some HUGE holiday and that there is some REAL widely known "black anthem"?
