Again, I haven't sidestepped anything. Your response directly implied that he was banning you. That was what I was addressing. Like you, IDGAF how these folks run their site. Hell, the fact that it's LSU sympathetic means I can expect certain shite I say about A&M to be looked at askance. I'm not running around crying to mods over it like you, though. I mod a couple of boards. It depends on the tenor of the site in question. Mods are in no way required to remain completely neutral. Mods are intended to keep the site interacting according to their druthers and the druthers of fellow mods. Of course that will skew based on the site.

Keeping discussions "civilized" really is subjective. You just hate the fact that mods on this board don't agree with what you have to say.

That said, if you're going to come with a left viewpoint, come correct. Not with the lame "you just did a Trumkin 'gotcha'" nonsense. You want the mods to rise above their biases (which they're entitled to have), then you have to calibrate your tone accordingly. I do it all the time in other forums, usually to great effect.

I don't care that they have the opinions. I'm saying that I now understand why I was banned for the comments I made in the racial threads. If the people with the ban-hammer think liberal commonly hate white people, then, with that context, I now get why my comments were interpreted that way. If you already believe something it doesn't take much to confirm it. I don't care what you think is weak on this echo chamber. That's my opinion.

I'll cede this. I assumed a site this large had professional moderation. If its volunteer users on the site then as you say...it is more expected for the mods to be reflective of the user-base.

I do think its lame that people that despise liberals openly get to ban people on a political forum but it is their site and it IS a right-wing political forum even if the name doesn't reflect the reality.

The left-dominated boards I know of don't pretend to be a "political talk" forum. They are marketed as left-leaning. Here there is some level of obfuscation which I think is a bit chicken-shite.
