China, Russia or any other adversary should be licking their chops at the thought of digitally attacking our electrical infrastructure. Hospitals put on generators to keep vents going, millions shut in their Manhatten birdhouses, already going crazy, then take away their heat/air communications and entertainment and the city would go fricking apeshit. Sure, run it through a 3rd party to alleviate your blame and response, but it would be catastrophic.

Tom Clancy shite could happen.

These people claim to be the center of civilization but live like sardines packed in a can. If civilization ends, these places of "culture" will be the first to go rogue.

I kinda wouldn’t feel that bad I mean, an over populated city on an island would be a miserable place to live.

It would be catastrophic, but if the US could prove a hostile government actor was behind the attack, it would be the quickest way to unite the world against them. The push to move US business interests and manufacturing out of China would go into overdrive at a minimum, and military strike would probably be on the table as well. Trying to take down the electrical grid in a time like this is an act of war

Say it is rogue people who just want to watch the world burn? Doesn’t change the outcome.

I do appreciate your sentiment. Just think outside of the box. You know pentagon is thinking like I am and not like the liberals do. It’s not going to be as easy a “The russians did it!”

The morons who live in those giant mistakes of engineering that contaminate the New York skyline are a blight on our country and their disproportionate control over a huge number of electoral college votes is the physical manifestation of them peering down judgmentally from their art deco ivory towers. frick all of 'em.

They are disproportionately under represented in the electoral college system.

Don't call anyone a moron when you don't understand simple math.

Their niche opinions dominate an entire state of otherwise conservative voices and force all of their representation to their will. They are overrepresented. The same happens in California.

Are they not already in the throes of a biological warfare attack?

They are neither over or under represented. Each state has the number of electorates equal to two senators and the number of representatives. Most states have about 1 representative per 700,000 people.

Are you old enough to remember what happened to NYC in the late '70s?

They would survive.
