I mean, if anything, the comment by Gorsuch only makes me like him more. The SCOTUS should be independent and shouldn't back people up along political lines. Furthermore the comment should make Gorsuch more palatable to Democrats and NeverTrumps in Congress.
The only reason to be upset about Gorsuch's comment is that you either (a) flatly reject any criticism of Trump or (b) want to see the power of the Executive expanded. Given what we went through with Obama on DACA and DAPA, no one should want that.

Lies should be called out regardless of party affiliation. The bigger picture is that Gorsuch's spokesperson pretty much confirmed with Blumenthal said. So it looks like trump also included alternative facts in his tweet tantrum

What context do you want here? Bonjean confirmed they were talking about the tweet and that Gorsuch used the two quotes in question.
