Nah, this will create such an intense backlash no politician would survive it. As the demographics of the country change, having two big-tent parties in a first-past-the-post election system is difficult. It would be better to diffuse the vote by shifting to a parliamentary style system, in which the coalitions are more defined, would be better for the larger demographics of the country, specifically white men. In that sense, exploding the voting population would work the same way as limiting the people who can vote.

We live in Nevada now and got ballots in the mail. We took them to the polling place when we voted early in person last week. I gave mine to them, unopened, and they tried to give it back to me, saying, and I quote, "take it home and destroy it." I said, "you destroy it here in my presence." She said again, "you can just take it home and do that yourself."

In the end, she destroyed the ballot in my presence, but how many people just took theirs home with them?

Lol. Look big liberal, no one is buying what you are selling. The fact that your sorry arse is too lazy to go vote in person is one thing, like most of your mind, but to act like this doesn't open up all kinds of fraud chances is well...something only a flaming liberal would say

Yuppies with their entitlement and pussification destroyed America.

They're the softest, neediest and easiest to control.

Vapid, shallow materialists.

Mail in is vastly superior. I have zero fear of my vote somehow not being counted properly.

So you would trust the USPS with a time sensitive-life saving medicine for you or your children, and if it was mishandled, it would spell death. Good to know.

The mail-in ballot thing is working exactly as the dem party
planned.

The pandemic is over. Time to do away with mail-in ballots and drop boxes.

So did California. When I showed up to vote yesterday, they canceled my mail-in ballot before I got my paper ballot for the machine.

So if you got one by mistake that wasn't yours, and sent it in, two things can happen.

That person shows up to vote and their mail-in is canceled, or that person doesn't show up and you got to vote twice.

PA sent out way over a million ballots with thousands going to Canada and illegals.
The freaking system is CORRUPT and it is out in the open. NOBODY is doing jack to stop it either.
2022 is at a higher level of fraud than 2020. Imagine that.

Mail in is way superior to having to stand in line.

Tell that to the French. They banned mail-in votes 50 years ago. And when they attempted to resurrect it during Covid, they postponed regional elections because of the backlash. I mean, what's to stop political operatives from contacting people in the community to collect ballots from relatives and slip them a cash fee for having said relative fill them out and drop them off? Most states have no limit to the number of ballots one person can drop off.

I voted early in person 2 weeks ago.

I still have 3 mail in ballots.

As a longtime NV resident and a retired letter carrier, I can assure you that this is FUBAR beyond comprehension.

Remember, this is the state where in 2010, they discovered voting machines in Boulder City that tried to register votes for Harry Reid when voters said that they voted for Sharron Angle.

ETA: Here's what appears on the Review Journal's election results page...Results on this page reflect in-person ballots cast during early voting and on Election Day, as well as mail ballots received and counted before Election Day. Mail ballots postmarked by Tuesday and received by Saturday will be added to these totals, so election results may change, which could change the outcomes of some races, especially those that are close.

So, if anyone wonders why I'm less than optimistic...
