Imagine being moved to tears of joy over being able to butcher your own child.
Godless people need this life to be their heaven because to them, this is all there is. If there is no afterlife, then the only God they serve is their own ego. Thus you see people sanctifying evil in pursuit of serving self.

You fanatics claim that personhood begins at conception, by quoting an irrelevant Bible verse,
Fanatics? Odd way to strut a position that is only for the destruction of a human life.

and then staunchly refuse to entertain any circumstance as an exception.
You fanatics aren't interested in "any exception", it's either unbridled access to abortion or else.

Somebody should get in the crowd and start to chant.
Lets kill Babies
Lets kill Babies
Lets kill Babies
Lets kill Babies
Lets kill Babies
Lets kill Babies

Interesting discussion.....how do you think this applies to the unborn. Do you infer those rights at conception?
I don't think it's a matter of recognizing rights for a two week old embryo so much as I think it is a matter of recognizing an obligation to avoid voluntarily ending the life of a human organism that—barring a catastrophic event—will eventually become a citizen with rights.
The distinction being that—like animal "rights"—it's not that the animals or unborn actually have rights. It's that citizens have an obligation to not abuse animals or end human organisms.
