Natural gas and northeast liberals

These literal retarded people are burning OIL in outdated power plants because their knee jerk reactions to be anti anything fossil fuels. They could have cheap clean small footprint super critical natural gas plants sitting on top of the largest gas field in the Western Hemisphere but they won’t even allow a fricking 30 yard right of way for a pipeline no one would ever see.

The delivered price of NG to NYC is currently incredibly high. All about pipelines.

They're plagued by ideology. The primary reason CO2 emissions from electric power generation are at their lowest level in more than 30 years is because natural gas generation is displacing coal generation.

Personally I dont mind people consuming oil in any way, for gasoline, motor oil, heat oil, etc...

What's the advantage of heating oil over NG?
Seems like heating oil is a bigger pain in the arse to deal with.

Right of way for a private pipeline takes eminent domain. The libertarians around here don't like that either. They prefer only government run pipelines.

You’re talking about home heating? Yes a little up front but NG furnaaces are more efficient, much cheaper fuel costs and less maintenance. It’s really a no brainer
