They had spears. We had guns.

Not very intelligent on their part.

If the White Man were as bad as these shitbags had been lead to believe, NONE of them would be here today.

not for the men like the people on that Monument, these folks would be living in teepees.

Na, another tribe would have scalped him and raped his wife.

We have wheel & axles created by Indigenous Americans at the latest in about 3000 BCE.

Putting "wheels" on toys isn't the same as a functional wheel moving heavy loads. For wheels and axles to handle a heavy load they require precise fittings that the natives didn't have the metal tools to make.

In defense of Native Americans axles and wheels are much more useful with large beasts of burden that were not available on the American continents. The bison are the only things close and human beings aren't able to domesticate them to this day.

Yup. That's why we had plenty of Indian scouts to use against them from various tribes.

But the worst of the worst and the baddest of the bad was the Comanche. Best horse soldiers but the vilest most mean and evil SoBs of the southwest. They were the "brutal savages" the eastern papers talked about. The model of what we thought about the western Indian. True assholes

Them and the Apache.

Most people have no idea how badly they utterly terrorized Northern Mexicans.

We've been saying the same thing about that weird racist battle flag the losers pop up with every now and again

I guess it became cool or a fad in the 80's or whenever when every other white person you met claimed: " I am part Cherokee" or "I am part Indian". I never really understood that.

shite, that was all the rage when i was a kid. It was Alabama chic to claim to be some part Indian and most claimed to be Cherokee because it sounded cooler than Choctaw. All these Southern, whiteboy rednecks wanting to believe they had some connection to the Noble Savage.

I'll tell ya though, If I were to make up some bullshite about sharing the genetics of some proud native tribe, it certainly wouldn't be those Cherokee pussies.

As one poster noted earlier it stopped Mexico in advancing further north.

Tell that to Custer. The Indians were better equipped that day as puzzling as that sounds.
