I guess I do now. I'm surprised you'd consider the article "disingenuous" when you knew the alternative was a time-consuming, worthless test, which these students might struggle to even afford. Sounds like an awful decision all around.

Was the mandatory vaccine requirement in effect at the time LSU accepted the student? If not, then there at least needs to be full tuition refund. Who came up with this 50% crap?

No disagreements here. But I don’t think it’s accurate to cast all the blame at the university. These kids had a very menial task to complete. They chose not to.
Should they have had to? No because the policy is garbage. This is the hand they were dealt though.

I sent them a photo of my vax card with my DoD ID back in April. Now I have to hope to God the military isn't slow as shite or I might be in that number. Since they said that vaccine cards are no longer legitimate and gave their obligatory bullshite reason. Supposedly my unit said that they should fax LSU the information on Monday.
