Dude, I travel a lot. I bring different devices on every trip. I've packed at least 3 different chargers as of right now and I don't always need them, because I don't always bring every device. I have a pre-packed travel kit with chargers that I bring almost every trip.
Does that logic enough for you? This mystery has already been solved, they found the device in question. But the mere presence of a charger not fitting his devices doesn't mean shite.
