Most people on this board understand how full of it the MSM is. But then they trust them to report the truth when it comes to the Catholic Church. I'm just trying to make the point that they lie about the Church like they do about everything else. That's why I posted excerpts from the actual document that clearly show the media narrative was fabricated. I'm not trying to convince all you protestants to join Catholics. I'm not even trying to defend Frances as a whole (I much prefer Benedict). I'm just lining out the lies of the MSM.
I get your point. And I don't trust the MSM at all. They compete against each other for clicks and views so the more uproar they create, the better they will do. And the old line print media just isn't out there anymore to fulfill their responsibility as a fourth branch.
I do see anti catholic sentiment in some of the stuff written here. it doesn't surprise me.

What a pathetic take this is. Hoping the gay agenda gains strength in any church is wrong. What in the world is wrong with you?

My kids attended daycare at the baptist seminary a few miles away. My daughter became very close with a girl in her class. The girl had two married moms. No one batted an eyelash at this couple. Not even when one of the wives fell pregnant with twins.

What exactly is it that you think this means?

The Catholic Church already is.

Catholics are Christians. It was the very first Christian church. In fact, it was the only Christian church for 1500 years.

Refusing to recognize a centralized, human authority and instead recognizing only God and the Bible as the ultimate authority is the only reason Southern Baptists have been holding strong so far. Leftists are attacking though.

Yep, all seminarians are sinners just like us.

I never said I was without sin, and I never condemned anyone. You have provided an excellent example of changing the context of a verse.

All of this is completely incorrect.

I shared my experience with the Baptist church welcoming homosexuals on its campus.

I do know John Smyth founded the Baptist church in Europe which then filtered of to America.
Or was it always around after Jesus death resurrection and ascension?
