It's called "wishcasting".
Remember, you're dealing with someone who cautions against making judgements without seeing all the evidence, then turns around and makes judgements without seeing all the evidence...

(if the Girl did "start the fight," as indicated in the video BTW)
The video starts with a 9yo girl assaulting a 7yo boy, then moves to an older-still boy assaulting the girl. We do not KNOW what caused that initial assault. If the girl WAS the initial aggressor, the older boy MIGHT have been legally-justified in defending the smaller child. Even if that is the case, however, it would appear to me that he used excessive force.
The initial reaction of this forum was to rend garments about the girl, while ignoring the APPARENT idea that she was the initial aggressor. Why? She is "White," apparently. Sad.
By contrast, I analyzed BOTH possibilities. Apparently, that failure to immediately "take a side" in favor of the Girl ... means that I am "taking a side" in favor of the older boy, rather than looking at both possibilities.
It is all very confusing.

Stereotypes keep writing themselves, it seems.

It was probably just a stroke of luck that someone started recording (vertically, of course) a completely peaceful and boring bus ride right at the very instant that a violent little girl decided to spaz out and attack someone for no reason.

What's "confusing" is the Schizophrenic way in which you rabidly, repeatedly edit your posts...
It's almost as you do it to be deceptive.....

So you think a little girl, who just started at that school 3 weeks earlier, was walking on the bus slapping kids around? Lol. You are mentally damaged and broken. I like how you conveniently leave out that her 10 year old brother was viscously assaulted right before she was beaten. I guess they both deserve it, according to you.
I am not shocked that you took this position. Anyone who promotes the sexual exploitation of children have no interest in defending innocent children against bullying. It would be a shame if you your children was faced with what that mother is having to deal with, although you’d probably suck off the aggressors

Lol. How many times does a white or Latino girl bully a black kid on a bus full of black kids.
Too funny.
You know the odds here. You just desperately want to be seen as the middle.

If the girl IS a Latina (as suggested by her mother's accent), her "ethnic group" would likely have been the majority ("plurality" at a minimum) in her school.
If you watch the END of the video, it was an apparently-Latino boy who ultimately restrained the aggressive Black boy.

At the risk of inflaming little Ooga, I am willing to make some reasonable inferences.
This girl and her siblings were brand-new students at this school. In my experience, the "new kids" get one of two treatments: adoration or bullying, not much in-between. Apparently, THEY were catching some bullying.
Little 7yo Cornrow carried himself like a mini-a-hole in the video, and I am willing to infer that this behavior is indicative of his overall personality. He probably thought he was more of a badass than was actually the case, and it would not surprise me if he mouthed-off at the Girl, probably in a profane and entirely unacceptable way. So the Girl responded by walloping him upside the head. The video started as she was doing so, and things escalated from there.
Do I KNOW that this is the sequence of events? Of course not. Not enough data.
Do I ARGUE that this WAS the sequence of events? Of course not. Not enough data.
But if I am FORCED to provide my "best guess" as to the sequence of events, this would be that "best guess" ... tentatively at this point and based upon the best evidence available to us at this time.

Kid was really quick with his phone if that's all that happened. Odds are it went well beyond verbal and had been happening for at least 10-15 seconds. Girls are much more unlikely than boys to answer words with a hand.

But no one ever forces you to make assumptions.
You do it completely on your own regardless of the available data, then turn around and chastise others for doing the same thing.
I think they have a word for that....

My 14yo can be filming within about half a second of noticing something. It is uncanny.

Evidently his unbiased source is the mainstream media, thats how he concluded that drag queens are harmless to children.

Roger, you seem to have great difficulty focusing upon the subject of any given thread. Have you discussed the possibility of an Adderall prescription with your PCP?
