Maduro was planning on seizing the country of Guyana. That would have been bad news. Guyana has rich untapped oil resources, but the whole country is undeveloped, and largely devoid of a transportation structure.

Thank God for President Trump.

President Trump prevented a major war in South America.

Right before Nicolás Maduro was captured, Venezuela was preparing to invade Guyana over one of the world’s largest offshore oil discoveries.

US special operations forces moved in before the conflict could spiral into a regional war and humanitarian crisis that would have sent waves of migrants across the region.

And somehow, the mainstream media barely wants to talk about it.

There's a reason for that.

Have a family member who just returned from there yesterday morning.

This is a fact.

Maduro had watched a multinational oil developer build infrastructure and inject huge capital and decided he would go in and take it...similar to his predecessor in Venezuela.
