And yet they're still responsible for killing more humans than guns. Dead is dead.

Also I mean if you really look at it, other countries who banned guns have had very few incidents with guns. Hell the last mass shooting in Australia was 96.

Australia: Massacres

I guess it depends on what you consider “mass.” According to Wiki’s definition of massacre Australia has had 3 mass shootings since 96’.

It appears the new favorite mass murder tool is now arson instead though. 3 massacres of over 10 people by arson attack since they took the guns away. Hadn’t been one since ‘73 before that.

2017
-6 killed, 30 injured in a vehicle attack.

2014:
-8 killed in stabbing massacre
-3 killed by gunman
-5 killed in mass shooting
-3 killed, 2 injured in arson attack

2011:
-11 killed in arson attack

Evil people still commit mass murder, with or without guns. Take away our guns though and expect millions more citizens assaulted through interactions with criminals annually.

By comparing criminal victimization surveys from Britain and the Netherlands (countries having low levels of gun ownership) with the U.S., Florida State University criminologist Gary Kleck determined that if the U.S. were to have similar rates of "hot" burglaries as these other nations, there would be more than 450,000 additional burglaries per year where the victim was threatened or assaulted. (Britain and the Netherlands have a "hot" burglary rate near 45% versus just under 13% for the U.S., and in the U.S. a victim is threatened or attacked 30% of the time during a "hot" burglary.)

Similar increase in boldness likely in all criminal categories when the population is disarmed.

Wonder how many citizens died in European countries during all these “hot burglaries?” 5, 10, 100? How many would be alive with hot burglary rates decreased by a substantial portion due to gun ownership? What about sexual assaults?

guns kill

Thank God for that. I'd hate to be in a situation where I needed to kill a bad guy and my gun wouldn't kill.

Neither was an AR 15.
