I mean who doesn't want a government not bound by the rule of law who can expand its military powers infinitely at a moment's notice and/or execute anyone on the planet without due process?

Not why we are harassing Venezuela. They are simply a point on a supply chain.

So, "yes" they can be killed on sight? Are the designated narcoterrorists the only ones who run drugs?

Will do no such thing. The supply chain is more resilient than our pollical system.

I really don't like to put myself in a box... but... small government, to me, would be defense of nation. Preventing drugs, guns and slaves from being imported falls under defense of nation.

I tend to agree that the flow of drugs is resilient. However, I'm more than happy to see our government give some new, bold tactics a try. Doing nothing guarantees failure...

Thats how we ended up with prohibition, which was worse than legalization.

Same with drugs. Its the demand that needs attention. We're doing it backwards yet again.

Haven't seen any muzzies fly planes into buildings lately.

Not that I'm a fan of the legislation that came about in The War on Terror.
