Liberals understand economics when a Republican is President.

And republicans don’t care about being total hypocrites when they are in office.

You have republicans/“conservatives” arguing for tariffs.

Yes, consumers will end up paying the tariffs to the extent they are passed on by U.S. importers.

I'm not sure what you are referring to as "producers", but if your mean the Mexican product producers, you are dead wrong.

Show me a supply and demand curve that doesn’t impact both consumer and producer surplus. You’re an idiot.

You just simply don't get it

When the cost goes up 25%, then Americans will look to American based products. The money paid to those American companies and employees, WILL NO LONGER BE SPENT IN MEXICO, and their taxes will add to the treasury, which will pay for the wall

In simpler terms, money that used to circulate in Mexico will now circulate in the US, and pay for the wall. Mexico will now pay for the wall with funds they used to have, but don't now

It aint that hard of a concept, really

No... Tariffs are paid by the actual importer. Sometimes its the same as the producer (gm trucks, vw, Ford, etc) but many more times it's not (produce, petroleum, etc).

You’re wrong.
